可往甲尼至哈末大邑、又至非利士人迦特、徧加巡察、豈有他國、較此國尤尊榮、豈有他境、較爾境尤延袤、

可往甲尼而察、自彼往哈末大邑、又下至非利士人之迦特、見彼諸地較此二國尤佳乎、彼之境較爾之境尤廣乎、

Go to Kalneh and look at it; go from there to great Hamath, and then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are they better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Go and look at the city of Kalneh. Go from there to the great city of Hamath. Then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are those places better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Pass over to Calneh, and see, and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Or is their territory greater than your territory,

But go over to Calneh and see what happened there. Then go to the great city of Hamath and down to the Philistine city of Gath. You are no better than they were, and look at how they were destroyed.

Cross over to Calneh and see; go from there to great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?

They say to the people:“ Journey over to Calneh and look at it! Then go from there to Hamath-Rabbah! Then go down to Gath of the Philistines! Are they superior to our two kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?”

你能胜过挪亚们吗？它坐落在众河之间，周围有水，海作它的城郭，海作它的城墙。

他王国的开始是在巴别、以力、亚甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。

哈马、亚珥拔的神明在哪里呢？西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的神明在哪里呢？它们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？

他出去攻击非利士人，拆毁了迦特、雅比尼和亚实突的城墙，又在非利士人中，在亚实突境内建筑城镇。

从非利士营中出来一个挑战的人，名叫歌利亚，是迦特人，身高六肘一虎口。

迦勒挪岂不像迦基米施吗？哈马岂不像亚珥拔吗？撒玛利亚岂不像大马士革吗？既然我的手已伸到了这些有偶像的国，他们所雕刻的偶像过于耶路撒冷和撒玛利亚的偶像，我岂不照样待耶路撒冷和其中的偶像，如同我待撒玛利亚和其中的偶像吗？”

恐怕希西家误导你们说，耶和华必拯救我们。列国的神明有哪一个曾救它本国脱离亚述王的手呢？哈马和亚珥拔的神明在哪里呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪里呢？它们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？

他与他们说话的时候，看哪，那挑战的人，就是迦特的非利士人歌利亚，从非利士队伍中上来，说了同样的话，大卫听见了。

亚述王从巴比伦、古他、亚瓦、哈马和西法瓦音迁移人来，安置在撒玛利亚的城镇，代替以色列人；他们就占据了撒玛利亚，住在城中。

巴比伦人造疏割‧比讷像；古他人造匿甲像；哈马人造亚示玛像；

你们且渡到基提海岛察看，派人往基达去留心查考，看可曾有过这样的事。岂有一国换了它的神明吗？其实那不是神明！但我的百姓将他们的荣耀换了那无益的东西。

“人子啊，你要对埃及王法老和他的军队说：论到你的强盛，谁能与你相比呢？看哪，亚述是黎巴嫩的香柏树，枝条荣美，荫密如林，极其高大，树顶高耸入云。

哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”

那时所罗门守节，从哈马口直到埃及溪谷的以色列众人都与他同在一起，成了一个盛大的会，在耶和华—我们的上帝面前七日又七日，共十四日。

我祖先所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神明何曾拯救他们呢？哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”
