I brought you up out of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness to give you the land of the Amorites.

“ People of Israel, I brought you up out of Egypt. I led you in the desert for 40 years. I gave you the land of the Amorites.

Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

It was I who rescued you from Egypt and led you through the desert for forty years, so you could possess the land of the Amorites.

And I brought you from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness in order to possess the land of the Amorite.

And it was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you in the wilderness for forty years So that you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.

Also it was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And led you forty years through the wilderness, To possess the land of the Amorite.

I brought you up from the land of Egypt; I led you through the wilderness for forty years so you could take the Amorites’ land as your own.

For Yahweh your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has known your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years, Yahweh your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.

That same day, Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

Hear this word that Yahweh has spoken against you, children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying:

Are you not like the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel?” says Yahweh.“ Haven’t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

For a period of about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness.

But God turned, and gave them up to serve the army of the sky, as it is written in the book of the prophets,‘ Did you offer to me slain animals and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

“ I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

So I caused them to go out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his offspring, and have performed your words; for you are righteous.“ You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea,and showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, and against all his servants, and against all the people of his land; for you knew that they dealt proudly against them, and made a name for yourself, as it is today.You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the middle of the sea on the dry land; and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.Moreover, in a pillar of cloud you led them by day; and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light in the way in which they should go.

Moreover your little ones, whom you said would be captured or killed, your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, shall go in there. I will give it to them, and they shall possess it.

For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.

I said to you,“ You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which Yahweh our God gives to us.Behold, Yahweh your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as Yahweh the God of your fathers has spoken to you. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed.”

Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said,“ It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways.”

You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.

“ Yes, forty years you sustained them in the wilderness. They lacked nothing. Their clothes didn’t grow old, and their feet didn’t swell.

who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;and brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, with wonders, with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;

I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever;and brought out Israel from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever;

But I will bring your little ones that you said should be captured or killed in, and they shall know the land which you have rejected.But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.Your children shall be wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your prostitution, until your dead bodies are consumed in the wilderness.After the number of the days in which you spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, you will bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you will know my alienation.’I, Yahweh, have spoken. I will surely do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.”
