掃羅的眼睛上立刻好像有鱗一般的東西掉下來，他就能再看得見，於是他起來，受了洗，

他們擊打門外的人，無論老少，都眼睛迷糊，找門找得很煩躁。

現在你看，主的手臨到你身上，你會瞎眼，暫時看不見日光。」立刻迷濛和黑暗籠罩着他，他到處摸索，求人拉着手領他。

耶和華對他說：「誰造人的口呢？誰使人口啞、耳聾、目明、眼瞎呢？豈不是我－耶和華嗎？

以利沙禱告說：「耶和華啊，求你開他的眼目，使他能看見。」耶和華開了這年輕人的眼目，他就看見了，看哪，滿山有火馬和火焰車圍繞以利沙。亞蘭人下到以利沙那裏，以利沙向耶和華禱告說：「求你擊打這國，使他們眼目失明。」耶和華就照以利沙的話，擊打他們，使他們眼目失明。以利沙對他們說：「這不是那條路，也不是那座城。你們跟我走，我必領你們到你們要尋找的人那裏。」於是他領他們到了撒瑪利亞。他們進了撒瑪利亞，以利沙說：「耶和華啊，求你開這些人的眼目，使他們能看見。」耶和華開了他們的眼目，他們就看見了，看哪，是在撒瑪利亞城中。
