But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying,“ Little girl, arise.”

And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her,“ Talitha, cumi,” which is translated,“ Little girl, I say to you, arise.”Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.

When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed.He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord.And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.And he called Gehazi and said,“ Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said,“ Pick up your son.”

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed,

Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come forth!”And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them,“ Loose him, and let him go.”

And he said to her,“ Give me your son.” So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed.Then he cried out to the Lord and said,“ O Lord my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?”And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said,“ O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.”Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house, and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said,“ See, your son lives!”

And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

When we had come to the end of those days, we departed and went on our way; and they all accompanied us, with wives and children, till we were out of the city. And we knelt down on the shore and prayed.

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”
