所有聽見的人都十分驚訝，說：「這不就是那個在耶路撒冷殘害了那些求告這名的人嗎？而且他來到這裡，不就是為要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長們那裡嗎？」

凡听见的人都惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这人吗？并且他到这里来，特要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里。”

凡听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的不就是这个人吗？他不是到这里来要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里去吗？”

凡听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的不就是这个人吗？他不是到这里来要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里去吗？”

听的人都大吃一惊，说：“他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人吗？他到这里来不是要把大马士革的信徒押去见祭司长吗？”

听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这个人吗？他来这里不是要缉拿他们交给祭司长吗？”

所有听见的人都十分惊讶，说：“这不就是那个在耶路撒冷残害了那些求告这名的人吗？而且他来到这里，不就是为要捆绑他们，带到祭司长们那里吗？”

凡聽見的人都驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這人嗎？並且他到這裏來，特要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏。」

凡聽見的人都很驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的不就是這個人嗎？他不是到這裏來要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏去嗎？」

聽的人都大吃一驚，說：「他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人嗎？他到這裡來不是要把大馬士革的信徒押去見祭司長嗎？」

聽見的人都很驚奇，說：“在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這個人嗎？他來這裡不是要緝拿他們交給祭司長嗎？”

凡聽見的都驚奇說：『這個人豈不是那在耶路撒冷殘害呼求這名的麼？他到這裏來，豈不是要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏麼？』

聞者皆驚異之、曰、此人非在耶路撒冷、殘害籲斯名者、且來此、欲繫之、解於祭司諸長乎、

眾聞、奇之曰、此非在耶路撒冷、殘賊凡籲斯名者乎、今至此、欲繫是徒、解祭司諸長歟、

凡聞之者、皆奇異曰、此人非在耶路撒冷殘害籲斯名者乎、今至此、非為縛之以解於祭司諸長乎、

聞者異曰『耶路撒冷殘害呼籲斯名者、非斯人乎？此來非欲網弋若輩、以解司祭長乎？』

All those who heard him were astonished and asked,“ Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed. They asked,“ Isn’t he the man who caused great trouble in Jerusalem? Didn’t he make trouble for those who worship Jesus? Hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

And all who heard him were amazed and said,“ Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed.“ Isn’t this the same man who caused such devastation among Jesus’ followers in Jerusalem?” they asked.“ And didn’t he come here to arrest them and take them in chains to the leading priests?”

All who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man in Jerusalem who was causing havoc for those who called on this name and came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All those hearing him continued to be amazed, and were saying,“ Is this not the one who in Jerusalem destroyed those who called on this name, and had come here for the purpose of bringing them bound before the chief priests?”

Then all who heard were amazed, and said,“ Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.

But all who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man who, in Jerusalem, was destroying those who called on this name and then came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

But all that heard[ him] were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

All who heard him were amazed and were saying,“ Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed, and said,“ Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

阿納尼亞卻回答：「主啊，我聽許多人說過有關這個人在耶路撒冷對你的聖徒們所做的種種惡事。並且，他得到祭司長們的授權來到這裡，要捆綁所有求告你名的人。」

掃羅卻摧殘教會，闖進各家各戶，無論男女都拉去關進監獄。

認出他是坐在聖殿的美門口乞討的那個人，就對發生在他身上的事滿心希奇、驚訝。

看哪！我與耶和華所賜給我的孩子們成了以色列中的徵兆和預表——這出於住錫安山的萬軍之耶和華。

掃羅仍然向主的門徒們口吐凶殺威嚇的話。他來到大祭司面前，求他發一些信函給大馬士革各會堂，准許掃羅如果發現什麼人屬於這道，無論男女，都捆綁起來，帶到耶路撒冷。

眾人又驚訝又困惑，彼此問：「這是什麼意思呢？」

你們聽說過我以前在猶太教中的行事為人：我曾極力地逼迫神的教會，殘害她。我在猶太教中，比我本族的許多同輩更進一步，是一個對我祖先的傳統格外熱心的人。然而神，就是當我在母腹裡時就把我分別出來、又藉著他的恩典召喚我的那一位，樂意將他的兒子啟示在我裡面，好使我在外邦人中傳揚他。我沒有立刻與人商量，也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先做使徒的，而是往阿拉伯去，然後再回到大馬士革。三年以後，我才上耶路撒冷去見磯法，在他那裡住了十五天。至於其他的使徒，除了主的弟弟雅各，我都沒有見過。我現在所寫給你們的，看哪，是在神面前寫的，我不是在說謊。後來，我到了敘利亞和奇里乞亞地區。那時，在基督裡的猶太各教會，還沒有見過我的面。他們只是聽說：「以前逼迫我們的那個人，現在卻在傳揚他曾經殘害過的信仰。」他們就因我的緣故不住地榮耀神。

這聲音一響，有一群人就聚集而來，非常慌亂，因為各個人都聽見使徒們用各個人本地的語言說話。

他們來到耶穌那裡，看見那曾經有鬼魔附身的，就是被『軍團』所附的那個人，穿著衣服，神志清醒地坐著，他們就懼怕起來。那些看見的人，把發生在有鬼魔附身的人身上和有關豬群的事，都告訴了大家。他們就開始央求耶穌離開他們的地區。耶穌上船的時候，那曾被鬼魔附身的人懇求他，要與他在一起。耶穌沒有答應，卻對他說：「你回家去吧，到你的親友那裡，告訴他們主為你做了什麼，以及他怎樣憐憫你。」於是那個人離開了，開始在德卡波利斯地區傳揚耶穌為他做了什麼樣的事。眾人都感到驚奇。

在那日，主來臨的時候，要藉著他的聖徒得著榮耀，又藉著所有的信徒令人驚奇——因為你們相信了我們對你們所做的見證。

「『大祭司約書亞啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴們都當聽！因為你們都是將來之事的預表。看哪，我將使我的僕人——那苗裔來到！

你們看，父所賜給我們的是何等的愛，為要使我們被稱為「神的兒女」，而我們就是神的兒女。世人之所以不認識我們，是因為不認識父。

他來到自己的家鄉，在他們的會堂裡教導人，以致他們驚嘆不已，說：「這個人的這種智慧和能力是從哪裡來的呢？這不就是那木匠的兒子嗎？他的母親不是叫瑪麗亞嗎？他的弟弟們不是雅各、約西、西門和猶大嗎？

他的鄰居和原先看見他討飯的人就說：「這不是那一向坐著討飯的人嗎？」有的說：「是這個人。」有的說：「不是，只是像他。」那個人自己說：「就是我。」

他們看見彼得和約翰的膽量，又了解他們是沒有學問的普通人，就感到驚奇，並且了解他們是曾經與耶穌在一起的；

我在眾人眼中成了某種惡兆，但你是我堅固的避難所。
