So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord— Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here— has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. He placed his hands on Saul.“ Brother Saul,” he said,“ you saw the Lord Jesus. He appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He has sent me so that you will be able to see again. You will be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

So Ananias left and entered the house. Then he placed his hands on him and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were traveling, has sent me so that you can regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord,[ even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed his hands on Saul and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.

These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them.

A man named Ananias lived there. He was a godly man, deeply devoted to the law, and well regarded by all the Jews of Damascus.He came and stood beside me and said,‘ Brother Saul, regain your sight.’ And that very moment I could see him!“ Then he told me,‘ The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and hear him speak.

Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

The Savior— yes, the Messiah, the Lord— has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!

Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you.

This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.

“ Please, come closer,” he said to them. So they came closer. And he said again,“ I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt.

After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven.

Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

“‘ Who are you, lord?’ I asked.“ And the Lord replied,‘ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting.

“ And you, my little son, will be called the prophet of the Most High, because you will prepare the way for the Lord.

This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel— that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.

Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.

After hearing this, they praised God. And then they said,“ You know, dear brother, how many thousands of Jews have also believed, and they all follow the law of Moses very seriously.

Yet when this son of yours comes back after squandering your money on prostitutes, you celebrate by killing the fattened calf!’

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.

He is no longer like a slave to you. He is more than a slave, for he is a beloved brother, especially to me. Now he will mean much more to you, both as a man and as a brother in the Lord.

You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way.

You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

And he will turn many Israelites to the Lord their God.He will be a man with the spirit and power of Elijah. He will prepare the people for the coming of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly.”

He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”“ Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied,“ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!

And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

Saul picked himself up off the ground, but when he opened his eyes he was blind. So his companions led him by the hand to Damascus.He remained there blind for three days and did not eat or drink.Now there was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling,“ Ananias!”“ Yes, Lord!” he replied.The Lord said,“ Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now.I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.”“ But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias,“ I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem!And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.”But the Lord said,“ Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.

We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!’”
