In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision,“ Ananias!”“ Yes, Lord,” he answered.

And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well reported of by all the Jews that dwelt there,

He saw in a vision openly, as it were about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in unto him, and saying to him, Cornelius.

And when Jehovah saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

And Jehovah called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And Eli perceived that Jehovah had called the child.Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Jehovah; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.And Jehovah came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel said, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

that Jehovah called Samuel: and he said, Here am I.

And the angel of God said unto me in the dream, Jacob: and I said, Here am I.

Now while Peter was much perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men that were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood before the gate,and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, were lodging there.And while Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.But arise, and get thee down, and go with them, nothing doubting: for I have sent them.

And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

but if he say thus, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.

And he said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known unto him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.

Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
