有主之天神謂斐理伯曰：『起而南、循耶路撒冷赴迦薩荒僻之路以行。』

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Go south to the road— the desert road— that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip.“ Go south to the desert road,” he said.“ It’s the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.

As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him,“ Go south down the desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip:“ Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is the desert road.)

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Get ready and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is a desert road.)

Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.

But an angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza: the same is desert.

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

Then an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Get up and go south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is a desert road.)

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert.”

But an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail during the night, brought them out, and said,

For this night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me,

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?

At once an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give the glory to God, and he became infected with worms and died.

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite,“ Go and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them,‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?’

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you.For look, darkness covers the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and His glory will appear over you.Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your radiance.Raise your eyes and look around: they all gather and come to you; your sons will come from far away, and your daughters will be carried on the hip.Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and rejoice, because the riches of the sea will become yours and the wealth of the nations will come to you.Caravans of camels will cover your land— young camels of Midian and Ephah— all of them will come from Sheba. Ashdod, with its towns and villages; Gaza, with its towns and villages, to the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.

Ashkelon will see it and be afraid; Gaza too, and will writhe in great pain, as will Ekron, for her hope will fail. There will cease to be a king in Gaza, and Ashkelon will become uninhabited.

They said,“ Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who has a good reputation with the whole Jewish nation, was divinely directed by a holy angel to call you to his house and to hear a message from you.”
