“事实上，希律和本丢彼拉多，与外邦人和以色列子民果然在这城里一同聚集，对付你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，

彼得却说：“金子银子我都没有，只把我有的给你：奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，起来走路吧！”

司提反满有恩惠和能力，在民间行了许多大奇事和神迹。

那么，你们大家和所有以色列子民应当知道：这个人健全地站在你们面前，是藉着拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名。这位耶稣基督，你们把他钉上十字架，但是神使他从死人中复活了！

“各位以色列人哪，请听这些话：拿撒勒人耶稣是神向你们所证实的人；神藉着他在你们中间行了大能、神迹和奇事，正如你们自己所知道的。

主藉着使徒们的手，在民间行了很多神迹和奇事。信徒们都同心合意地聚集在所罗门柱廊里。

彼得叫大家都出去，然后跪下祷告，接着转过身对着遗体，说：“塔比莎，你起来！”那妇人就睁开眼睛，看见彼得，而且坐了起来。彼得伸手扶她站起来，又叫圣徒们和寡妇们进来，把活过来的多卡丝交给他们。这事传遍了整个约帕，许多人就信了主。

彼得对他说：“艾尼亚，耶稣基督使你痊愈。站起来，为你自己整理垫子吧！”艾尼亚立刻就站起来了。于是所有住在利达和沙仑的人看到他，就归向了主。

每个人都起了敬畏之心。使徒们又行了很多奇事和神迹。

人们甚至把病人抬到大街上来，放在床榻上或垫子上，为要在彼得走过来的时候，至少他的影子可以落在一些人身上。还有一群人带着病人和被污灵折磨的人，从耶路撒冷周围的城镇聚集而来，这些人都得了痊愈。

现在，基于对他名的信心，他的名就使你们所看见所认识的这个人健壮了；这由耶稣而来的信心，使他在你们众人面前完全康复了。

耶稣对他说：“你们如果没有看见神迹和奇事，你们就绝不会信！”

门徒雅各和约翰看见了，就说：“主啊，你要我们吩咐火从天上降下来烧灭他们吗？”耶稣转过身来责备他们。于是他们往别的村子去了。

耶稣周围的人看到要发生的事，就说：“主啊，我们要用刀砍吗？”其中一个人向大祭司的奴仆砍去，削掉了他的右耳。耶稣应声说：“住手，到此为止！”然后摸一下那个人的耳朵，使他痊愈了。
