惟有主站在我身边，加给我力量，使我能把福音完整地传开，让所有的外邦人都听见；我也从狮子口里被救出来。主必救我脱离一切的凶恶，也必救我进他的天国。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们！

弟兄们，我们不要你们不知道，我们从前在亚细亚遭遇苦难，因受到无法忍受的压力，甚至连活命的指望都没有了。自己心里也断定是必死无疑，这是要使我们不依靠自己，只依靠使死人复活的神。他曾救我们脱离那极大的死亡，他要继续救我们，而且我们指望他将来还要救我们。你们也要一同用祈祷来帮助我们，好使许多人为我们感恩，因着他们许多的祷告，我们获得了恩赐。

以雅各的神为帮助、仰望耶和华—他神的，这人有福了！耶和华造天、地、海和其中的万物，他守信实，直到永远。

我的心哪，你当默默无声，专等候神，因为我的盼望是从他而来。惟独他是我的磐石，我的拯救；他是我的庇护所，我必不动摇。我的拯救、我的荣耀都在于神；我力量的磐石、我的避难所都在于神。百姓啊，要时时倚靠他，在他面前倾心吐意；神是我们的避难所。（细拉）

希西家向耶和华祷告说：“坐在基路伯之上耶和华—以色列的神啊，你，惟有你是地上万国的神，你创造了天和地。

但我困苦忧伤；神啊，愿你的救恩将我安置在高处。我要以诗歌赞美神的名，以感谢尊他为大！

愿与我作对的人披戴羞辱！愿他们以自己的羞愧作外袍遮身！我要用口极力称谢耶和华，我要在众人中间赞美他；因为他必站在贫穷人的右边，救他脱离定他死罪的人。
