Then Peter said,“ Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (niv)

He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria.When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
