For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. (niv)

till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. (niv)

Then Jacob called for his sons and said:“ Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come. (niv)

And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” (niv)

Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. (niv)

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.If anyone speaks in a tongue, two— or at the most three— should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.” (niv)

You who answer prayer, to you all people will come. (niv)

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world.( This happened during the reign of Claudius.) (niv)
