他們從別加往前行，來到彼西底的安提阿。在安息日，他們進了會堂就坐下。

然而，我蒙神的幫助，直到今日還站立得穩，向尊貴的和卑微的作見證。我所講的，並不外乎眾先知和摩西所說將來必成的事，就是基督必須受害，並且首先從死人中復活，把亮光傳給猶太人和外邦人。」

立刻在各會堂裏傳揚耶穌，說他是神的兒子。凡聽見的人都很驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的不就是這個人嗎？他不是到這裏來要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏去嗎？」但掃羅越發有能力，駁倒住在大馬士革的猶太人，證明耶穌是基督。

到了以弗所，保羅就把他們留在那裏，自己進了會堂，和猶太人辯論。
