當求仁、而慕神賜、最要者惟設教、人感於神、以言奧妙、而所言者、諸國方言、則聽者不知、蓋非與人言、乃與上帝言、設教者、是與人言、輔德、勸勉、安慰者也、言諸國方言者益己、設教者益會、吾願爾眾、言諸國方言、最要者設教、蓋設教、較之言諸國方言為大、如言諸國方言、則當自譯、使會獲益、兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言諸國方言、而不傳默示、智慧、預言、教訓、則何益哉、夫有聲無氣之物、如簫如琴、不正其音、焉知鼓吹者何與、如吹角而音無別、奚以備戰乎、舌音不明、焉知所言乎、無乃空言耶、世之方言固多、無不有其義、不識其義、則言者將以我為夷、我將以彼為夷矣、爾曹若求神賜、宜於益會之事求其多、言諸國方言者、宜求能譯、如用諸國方言祈禱、是第以心祈禱、而所言之意、無益於人、何則、以心祈禱、亦必使人明吾意、以心頌詩、亦必使人達吾意、若第以心祝謝、則蚩氓見之、不知云何、焉能和以心所願乎、是祝謝雖誠善、而彼不獲益、我謝上帝、得言諸國方言、多於爾眾、但在會中、與其言諸國方言以萬者、寧言五語、使明吾意以訓眾、兄弟乎、論智勿效赤子、論惡可效赤子、論智當效成人、載在律法、主曰、雖以諸國方言、及異音諭斯民、其亦不聽我矣、於是以諸國方言為徵、非示信者、乃示不信者、以設教為徵、非示不信者、乃示信者、全會既集、如眾言諸國方言、有蚩氓及不信者入焉、豈不謂爾狂乎、如眾設教、有不信者、及蚩氓入焉、遂因以自責、因以自評、其心之隱微顯著、伏拜上帝、言上帝在爾中矣、

上帝立人於教會、一使徒、二先知、三教師、繼以異能、醫術、與佐事者、治理者、言諸國方言者、眾豈使徒、先知、教師乎、眾豈有異能醫術乎、眾豈能言諸國方言乎、眾豈能譯方言乎、

有人由神得傳智慧、有人由神得傳知識、有人由神得信主、有人由神得醫術、有人得行異能、有人得言未來事、有人得別感神真偽、有人得言諸國方言、有人得譯諸國方言、此皆聖神所行、惟所欲予、
