But the evil spirit responded and said to them,“ I recognize Jesus, and I know of Paul, but who are you?”

但邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我知道，保罗我也认识，你们却是谁呢？”

邪灵回答说：“耶稣，我认识；保罗，我也知道。但你们是谁？”

邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”

邪灵回答他们，说：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道！但你们呢？你们是谁？”

惡鬼回答他們說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道。你們卻是誰呢？」

但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」

但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」

邪靈回答說：「耶穌，我認識；保羅，我也知道。但你們是誰？」

邪靈回答他們：“耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道；你們是誰？”

惡靈卻回答他們說：『耶穌我認識，保羅我知道；你們呢、是誰？』

邪靈回答他們，說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道！但你們呢？你們是誰？」

邪鬼應之曰、我知耶穌、亦識保羅、爾曹誰也、

惡神曰、我知耶穌、識保羅、爾曹誰耶、

魔曰、耶穌我知之、保羅我識之、爾曹誰耶、

然厲鬼答之曰：『耶穌予所識、葆樂予所知；顧爾為何許人耶？』

One day the evil spirit answered them,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”

One day the evil spirit answered them,“ I know Jesus. And I know about Paul. But who are you?”

But the evil spirit answered them,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”

But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied,“ I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?”

The evil spirit answered them,“ I know Jesus, and I recognize Paul— but who are you?”

And the evil spirit answered and said,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

The evil spirit answered them,“ I know Jesus, and I recognize Paul— but who are you?”

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

But the evil spirit replied to them,“ I know about Jesus and I am acquainted with Paul, but who are you?”

The evil spirit answered,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?”

She followed Paul and us and cried out repeatedly, saying,“ These men are bond servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you a way of salvation.”Now she continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and he turned and said to the spirit,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.

And He was asking him,“ What is your name?” And he* said to Him,“ My name is Legion, for we are many.”And he begged Him earnestly not to send them out of the region.Now there was a large herd of pigs feeding nearby on the mountain.And the demons begged Him, saying,“ Send us into the pigs so that we may enter them.”Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the pigs; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman,“ Has God really said,‘ You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”The woman said to the serpent,“ From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said,‘ You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’ ”The serpent said to the woman,“ You certainly will not die!For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and evil.”

saying,“ What business do you have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are: the Holy One of God!”

In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,“ Leave us alone! What business do You have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!”But Jesus rebuked him, saying,“ Be quiet and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst of the people, it came out of him without doing him any harm.

And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.

Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said,‘ I will entice him.’And the Lord said to him,‘ How?’ And he said,‘ I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ Then He said,‘ You shall entice him, and you will also prevail. Go and do so.’Now then, behold, the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours; and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”

And seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, and said with a loud voice,“ What business do You have with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!”For He had already commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times; and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard, and yet he would break the restraints and be driven by the demon into the desert.And Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ Legion”; because many demons had entered him.And they were begging Him not to command them to go away into the abyss.Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding there on the mountain; and the demons begged Him to permit them to enter the pigs. And He gave them permission.

And they cried out, saying,“ What business do You have with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding at a distance from them.And the demons begged Him, saying,“ If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
