Paul stayed on in Corinth for some time. Then he left the brothers and sisters and sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. Before he sailed, he had his hair cut off at Cenchreae because of a vow he had taken.

對猶太人，我就成為一個像猶太人那樣的人，為了贏得猶太人；對律法之下的人，雖然我自己不在律法之下，我卻成為一個像是在律法之下的人，為了贏得在律法之下的人；

後來，我到了敘利亞和奇里乞亞地區。

保羅走遍敘利亞省和奇里乞亞省，堅固各教會。

阿波羅開始在會堂裡放膽傳道。普茜拉和阿奎拉聽了，就接他來，把神的道更詳盡地講解給他聽。

我們望見塞浦路斯島，駛過的時候它在左邊。我們繼續向敘利亞省航行，在提爾登陸，因為船要在那裡卸貨。

他們帶去的信這樣寫著：「做使徒的和年長的弟兄們，問候安提阿、敘利亞省和奇里乞亞省的外邦弟兄們。
