当时，使徒们、长老们和全教会都认为应该从他们当中拣选几个人，派他们与保罗和巴拿巴一起到安提阿去。被选的是那称为巴撒巴的犹大和赛拉斯，这两个人在弟兄中是领头的。

从那里坐船回安提阿。当初，就是在这里，他们被交托在神的恩典中，去从事如今那已完成的工作。

巴拿巴到了，看见神的恩典就感到欢喜，鼓励大家要立定心志，继续靠主，

于是他们禁食、祷告，按手在巴拿巴和扫罗身上，就送他们走了。

“现在我把你们交托给神和他恩典的话语。这话语能造就你们，并且在所有被分别为圣的人中间赐给你们那继业。

愿主与你的灵同在。愿恩典与你们同在！

保罗到达代尔贝城，又到了路司得城。当时，那里有一个名叫提摩太的门徒，是一个信主的犹太妇人的儿子，他父亲是希腊人。路司得和以哥念的弟兄们都赞许他。保罗想要带他一起去，但为了那些地方的犹太人的缘故，就给他行了割礼，因为大家都知道他父亲是希腊人。

所有与我在一起的人都问候你。请问候那些在信仰上爱我们的人。愿恩典与你们大家同在！

但藉着神的恩典，我成了现在的我，并且神赐给我的恩典没有落空。不但如此，我比任何使徒更加劳苦做工；其实不是我，而是与我同在的神的恩典。

犹大和赛拉斯自己也是做先知传道的。他们用很多话鼓励弟兄们，坚固他们。
