但藉著神的恩典，藉著在基督耶穌裡的救贖，卻無償地被稱為義。

但是，當神我們救主的仁慈和他對人的愛顯明的時候，他拯救了我們；這不是本於我們所做的義行，而是照著他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗滌和聖靈的更新。神藉著我們的救主耶穌基督，將聖靈豐豐富富地傾注在我們身上，使我們藉著他的恩典被稱為義，可以照著永恆生命的盼望成為繼承人。

不過我們知道：人被稱為義不是本於律法上的行為，而是藉著信耶穌基督。於是我們信了基督耶穌，為要因信基督稱義，而不是本於律法上的行為，因為沒有一個人本於律法上的行為會被稱為義。

甚至當我們還死在過犯中的時候，就使我們與基督一同活過來——你們得救是藉著恩典！神又使我們在基督耶穌裡，與基督一同復活、一同坐在天上，為了在將來的各世代中，在基督耶穌裡，藉著對我們的仁慈，可以顯出他那無限恩典的豐盛。你們得救確實是藉著恩典、藉著信，這不是出於你們自己，而是神的恩賜；也不是本於行為，免得有人自誇。

歸於他恩典榮耀的稱讚，這恩典是他在愛子裡特別賜給我們的。在他裡面，我們藉著他的血，得蒙救贖、過犯得到赦免，都是出於神恩典的豐盛。

但是恩賜不同於過犯。原來，一個人的過犯尚且使眾人都死了，何況神的恩典和耶穌基督一個人恩典裡的賞賜，難道不更要豐豐富富地臨到眾人嗎？

因為你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典：他雖然富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，好使你們藉著他的貧窮可以成為富足。

因為罪的工價就是死；但神的恩賜，在我們的主基督耶穌裡，卻是永恆的生命。

願主耶穌的恩典與你們同在！

律法出現，為要使過犯增多；可是，罪在哪裡增多，恩典就在哪裡格外增多。這樣，就像罪藉著死亡掌權，恩典也照樣藉著義掌權，使人藉著我們的主耶穌基督進入永恆的生命。

我感到驚奇，你們這麼輕易地離棄了藉著基督的恩典召喚你們的那一位，轉向了別的福音。

事實上，神拯救萬民的恩典已經顯明出來了。
