今何為試上帝、以列祖及我儕不克負之軛、置門徒頸乎、

今何為試上帝、以祖宗及我不能負之軛、置門徒頸乎、

今何為試天主、以我列祖及我儕所不能負之軛、置於門徒頸乎、

今爾何為拂逆天主、而欲以吾列祖及吾儕所不堪負荷之軛、加諸信徒之項乎？

Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?

Now then, why are you trying to test God? You test him when you put a heavy load on the shoulders of Gentiles. Our people of long ago couldn’t carry that load. We can’t either.

Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?

Now then, why are you testing God by putting a yoke on the disciples’ necks that neither our ancestors nor we have been able to bear?

Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

他們把重擔捆起來，壓在人的肩頭上，但自己連一個指頭也不肯動。

基督釋放了我們，為了要使我們得自由。所以你們要站立得穩，不要再被奴役的軛控制。

現在你們既然認識神，更可以說是神所認識的，怎麼還回到那些軟弱貧乏的言論，情願再作它們的奴僕呢？

但亞哈斯說：“我不求，我不試探耶和華。”

耶穌對他說：“經上又記著：‘不可試探主你的神。’”

這第一進會幕是現今的時代的預表，其實所獻的禮物和祭品，都不能使敬拜的人在良心上得到完全。

在那裡，你們的祖先以試驗來試探我，觀看我的作為有四十年之久。

因此人民與摩西爭吵，說：“給我們水喝吧。”摩西對他們說：“你們為甚麼與我爭吵呢？你們為甚麼試探耶和華呢？”

你們所有勞苦擔重擔的人哪，到我這裡來吧！我必使你們得安息。我心裡柔和謙卑，你們應當負我的軛，向我學習，你們就必得著心靈的安息；我的軛是容易負的，我的擔子是輕省的。”

我說，那承受產業的，雖然是全部產業的主人，但在孩童的時期，卻和奴僕沒有分別。他是在監護人和管家之下，直到父親預先指定的時候。我們也是這樣，作孩童的時候，被世俗的言論所奴役；但到了時機成熟，神就差遣他的兒子，由女人所生，而且生在律法之下，要把律法之下的人救贖出來，好讓我們得著嗣子的名分。
