你们要以各样的祷告和祈求，藉着圣灵时刻祈祷；而且为此警醒，以极大的忍耐，为所有圣徒祈求，也为我祈求，好使我在开口的时候被赐予话语，能坦然无惧地让人明白福音的奥秘——为此，我成了带锁链的特使。请为我祈求，使我能照着应该说的，放胆传道。

门徒们就出去，到处传道。主与他们一同工作，并且藉着伴随的神迹证实这话语。

在夜里，主藉着异象对保罗说：“不要怕，只管讲！不要沉默不语，因为我与你同在，而且没有人会下手伤害你；原来在这城里有许多我的子民。”保罗在那里住了一年零六个月，在他们当中教导神的话语。

只是我会留在以弗所，一直到五旬节。原来，为了有功效的工作，一个大门向我敞开了，不过反对的人也很多。

我们就是这些事的见证人。神所赐给那些顺从他之人的圣灵也一同做见证。”

但是我不把自己的生命看为宝贵，为要跑尽我该跑的路程，完成从主耶稣所领受的服事工作，为神恩典的福音郑重地做见证。

相反，正如你们知道，虽然我们以前在腓立比受了苦、受了凌辱，但是靠着我们的神，我们还是放胆直言，在大争战中把神的福音传给了你们。

的确，我不以福音为耻，因为这福音是神的大能，把救恩带给一切相信的人，先是犹太人、后是外邦人。

保罗和巴拿巴就放胆直言，说：“神的话语先传给你们是必须的。既然你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永恒的生命，看哪，我们就转向外邦人，

这样持续了两年，结果所有住在亚细亚省的人，无论是犹太人或希腊人，都听到了主的福音。神藉着保罗的手，行了一些不寻常的神迹，甚至有人把保罗身上的手巾和围裙拿去，放在病人身上，疾病就从他们身上消退了，邪灵也出去了。

主藉着使徒们的手，在民间行了很多神迹和奇事。信徒们都同心合意地聚集在所罗门柱廊里。虽然其他的人没有一个敢与他们交往，但民众都尊敬他们。信主的人越发增加，连男带女成群结队。

“各位以色列人哪，请听这些话：拿撒勒人耶稣是神向你们所证实的人；神藉着他在你们中间行了大能、神迹和奇事，正如你们自己所知道的。

耶稣对他说：“你们如果没有看见神迹和奇事，你们就绝不会信！”
