Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin. Moses’ law could not make you right in God’s eyes.

and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.

Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight— something the law of Moses could never do.

Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.

and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

and by this one everyone who believes is justified from everything from which the law of Moses could not justify you.

and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

( for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.

Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.

Even if I were innocent, my mouth would condemn me; if I were blameless, it would pronounce me guilty.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:“ Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.“ Teacher,” he asked,“ what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper.They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings— external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

“ You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied.“ Do this and you will live.”

“ I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood— to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

“ Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.

“ For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died— more than that, who was raised to life— is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness— for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because“ the righteous will live by faith.”The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says,“ The person who does these things will live by them.”

Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.

It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.

“ See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness—

as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ— the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.

Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.
