千總許之、葆樂登階、揮手、譁噪乃止；葆樂遂以希伯來語對眾發言。

有人擁亞力山大自人叢中出、猶太人推之使前。亞力山大以手示意、欲向眾分辯。

言竟、雅各伯應曰：

葆樂起而招以手曰：『義塞人及爾等敬畏天主者、請聽！

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

蓋有人來自雅各伯、當其未至伯鐸祿與外邦人同食；及其既至、彼乃逡巡引退、離群索居、惟恐受割禮者之誹己也。

次晨、吾儕隨葆樂同訪雅各伯、長老咸在、

其他宗徒、自主之表弟雅各伯而外悉未之見。

繼又見於雅各伯及諸宗徒；

此後耶穌往來於加利利境內、而不願親往猶太、蓋猶太人正欲加以陷害也。

比出、不能言；乃知其在殿中有異遇。渠乃以手作勢、示意於眾；儼然一瘖者也。

敬主之人。悉心靜聽。聽我宣布。主之救恩。

勉行報主願。宣德於萬方。我主待聖徒。猶似掌上珠。其生固足珍。其死價尤殊。

一邑見逐、則投他邑；吾實語爾、義塞諸邑、爾未遍歷、而人子已臨矣。

主自九天上。監臨人間世。垂聽幽囚泣。親釋羈魂縲。

耶穌亦不復公然行於猶太人中、乃退至郊野之地；入一鎮、名以法蓮、偕門徒居焉。

西門伯鐸祿示以意、欲其一問所言伊誰、

眾乃拾石以投之、耶穌遂隱身出殿。

天主及吾主耶穌基督之僕雅各伯、致書於僑居外邦之十二支派曰：願爾康樂。

復至約旦河外、在如望初授洗處而居焉；

屈者必見伸。飢者必得食。

可不稱謝。再造之恩。可不獻祭。慶此更生。
