When Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,

及至彼得上了耶路撒冷，那些奉割禮的門徒和他爭辯說：

彼得一回到耶路撒冷，嚴守割禮的門徒就指責他：

可是當彼得上到耶路撒冷的時候，那些割禮派的人卻批評他，

及彼得上耶路撒冷、奉割者與之爭、

彼得上耶路撒冷、奉割禮者詰之、

彼得上耶路撒冷、受割禮者責之、

惟伯鐸祿至耶路撒冷時割禮中人指責之曰：

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him

Peter went up to Jerusalem. There the Jewish believers found fault with him.

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him, saying,

But when Peter arrived back in Jerusalem, the Jewish believers criticized him.

And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him,

They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him,“ You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs.What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow.

Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers,“ Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”

Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying,“ It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

For before some people came from James, he ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they didn’t walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them all,“ If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
