於是彼得應時說：『這些人既受了聖靈跟我們一樣，誰能攔阻他們不受水的洗禮呢？』

于是彼得说：“这些人既受了圣灵，与我们一样，谁能禁止用水给他们施洗呢？”

“这些人既受了圣灵，跟我们一样，谁能阻止用水给他们施洗呢？”

“这些人既受了圣灵，跟我们一样，谁能阻止用水给他们施洗呢？”

“既然这些人已经和我们一样领受了圣灵，谁能阻止他们接受洗礼呢？”

“这些人既然领受了圣灵，跟我们一样，谁能禁止他们受水的洗礼呢？”

“这些人就像我们一样也领受了圣灵，到底谁能阻止用水给他们施洗呢？”

於是彼得說：「這些人既受了聖靈，與我們一樣，誰能禁止用水給他們施洗呢？」

「這些人既受了聖靈，跟我們一樣，誰能阻止用水給他們施洗呢？」

「這些人既受了聖靈，跟我們一樣，誰能阻止用水給他們施洗呢？」

「既然這些人已經和我們一樣領受了聖靈，誰能阻止他們接受洗禮呢？」

“這些人既然領受了聖靈，跟我們一樣，誰能禁止他們受水的洗禮呢？”

「這些人就像我們一樣也領受了聖靈，到底誰能阻止用水給他們施洗呢？」

彼得曰、斯人既受聖神如我儕然、以水與之施洗、孰能禁之、

彼得曰、此人既受聖神、如我儕然、以水施洗、孰能禦之、

彼得曰、此人既受聖神、如我儕然、則以水施之洗禮、孰能禁之乎、

於是伯鐸祿曰：『彼等既領聖神、與吾儕無異、孰能禁水而不為施洗耶？』

“ Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

“ Surely no one can keep these people from being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

“ Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”

“ Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?”

“ Can anyone withhold water and prevent these people from being baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”

“ Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?”

“ Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”

Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?

“ Can anyone withhold water and prevent these people from being baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”

Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

“ No one can withhold the water for these people to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?”

“ Can anyone forbid these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just like us.”

他們沿路走的時候，到了有水的地方；太監說：『看哪，這裏有水！有甚麼能攔阻我受洗禮呢？』

趕到他們相信腓利論上帝之國和耶穌基督之名所傳的福音，他們就受了洗，男女都有。

猶太人和希利尼人並沒有區別：同一位主是萬人的主，豐豐富富的恩待一切呼求他的人。

知道人心的上帝也為他們作證，賜予聖靈，正如賜給我們一樣；在我們與他們之間、上帝並不加以分別，都是藉着人的信、潔淨人的心。

亞伯拉罕給自己包皮肉上行割禮的時候、是九十九歲。他兒子以實瑪利包皮肉上受了割禮的時候，是十三歲。就在這一天，亞伯拉罕和他的兒子以實瑪利就都受了割禮。

於是眾人都充滿了聖靈、說起話來，照聖靈給他們去發表的。

我正開始講的時候，聖靈便降在他們身上，正像當初降在我們身上一樣。我就想起主的話，他怎樣說：「約翰施洗是用水的，但你們呢、卻要在聖靈裏受洗。」這樣，上帝既然將相同之白白的恩給了他們，像我們信服主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻上帝麼？』

他領受了割禮為象徵，做沒受割禮時因信而稱的義的印記，好使他做一切沒受割禮而信的人的父，（叫義可以算為他們的），
