因為時候將到，人們容忍不了健全的教義，反要順著自己的欲望，為自己的耳朵能被呵癢得舒服，去召聚許多教師。

因为时候要到，人必厌烦纯正的道理，耳朵发痒，就随从自己的情欲，增添好些师傅，

因为时候将到，那时人会厌烦健全的教导，耳朵发痒，就随心所欲地增添好些教师，

因为有一天，人们会厌倦纯正的教导，耳朵发痒，寻找许多迎合他们私欲的老师。

因為有一天，人們會厭倦純正的教導，耳朵發癢，尋找許多迎合他們私慾的老師。

因為時候快要到了，人必容不下純正的道理，反而耳朵發癢，隨著自己的私慾，增添許多教師，

因為時候必到，人必不容忍健全的教義，反而耳朵發癢，順着自己的私慾給自己堆積許多教師來，

蓋時至、人將不容正教、因其耳癢而徇己慾、多集厥師、

蓋其後、人必厭聞正道之教、喜聽悅耳之談、狥嗜欲、多其師、

蓋後必有人厭聞正道之教、喜聽悅耳之言、狥私慾而多增其師、

蓋時有必至、將見正道不容於世矣。滔滔者將徇其私意、好新務異各師其師；

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

The time will come when people won’t put up with true teaching. Instead, they will try to satisfy their own desires. They will gather a large number of teachers around them. The teachers will say what the people want to hear.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.

For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.

For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires,

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;

For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new.

For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things.

For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,

不過，在子民當中也出現過假先知；照樣，在你們當中也會有假教師。他們會偷偷引進使人滅亡的異端，甚至否認那救贖他們的主，給自己招來快速的滅亡。許多人會隨從他們好色的事；真理之道也會因他們的緣故，受到褻瀆。他們因著貪心，會用捏造的話利用你們。對他們的懲罰，從太古的時候就沒有失效，他們的滅亡也不耽延。

你應當知道這一點：在末後的日子裡，將有艱難的時候來到；因為人們將會愛自己、愛錢財，又自誇、又驕傲，褻瀆神、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、毫不聖潔、沒有親情、不肯和解、惡意控告、不能自制、殘忍凶暴、不愛良善、背叛出賣、任意妄為、自以為是，愛享樂過於愛神，有敬神的外表，卻否定敬神的實質；這樣的人你要避開。他們當中有些人溜進別人家裡，虜獲無知的婦女。這些婦女被罪孽壓制，被各種欲望牽引，

不過聖靈明確地說，在末後的時代有些人會離開這信仰，聽從迷惑人的邪靈和鬼魔的教義。這些教義出於說謊之人的偽善，這些人的良心已經麻木了。他們禁止結婚，要求遠避某些食物，就是神所創造的，好讓信徒和了解真理的人以感謝的心享用。

淫亂的、同性戀的、拐賣人口的、說謊的、起假誓的，以及其他任何反對健全教義的人。

「所定的罪是這樣的：光來到了世界，人們卻因自己的行為邪惡，不喜愛光，反喜愛黑暗。事實上，所有作惡的人，都憎恨光，不來到光那裡，免得自己的行為被揭露出來；但行真理的人，卻來到光那裡，為了顯明自己所做的是在神裡面被做成的。」

我對你們說真話，結果就成了你們的敵人嗎？

弟兄們，我以前到你們那裡去的時候，並沒有用高言大智對你們傳講神的奧祕，

——他曾對他們說「這是安息之所，讓疲乏的人得享安息吧，這是安歇之地」——但他們卻不願意聽從，

原來，所有的雅典人以及在那裡作客的外國人，不做別的，只花時間說說聽聽某個較為新奇的事。

當所有的人都說你們好的時候，你們有禍了，因為他們的祖先也是同樣對待假先知們的。

我說話、我傳道，不是藉著有智慧的說服性的話語，而是藉著聖靈和大能的明證，

大地悲涼、衰落，黎巴嫩羞愧、凋萎，莎倫好像荒漠，巴珊和迦密振落。耶和華說：「現在我要起來，現在我要被高舉，現在我要受尊崇。你們所懷的是乾草，所生的是麥稭；你們的鼻息是吞噬自己的火。

可是因為我講真理，你們就不相信我！

經文士和祭司長們知道這個比喻是針對他們而說的，當時就想下手捉拿耶穌，可是又怕民眾。
