Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.You also once walked in those, when you lived in them;but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.”

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says,“ Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

“ I know your works( behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name.

to the assembly of God which is at Corinth— those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both theirs and ours:

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Depart from evil, and do good. Live securely forever.For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.But you didn’t learn Christ that way,if indeed you heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ—as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance,but just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior;because it is written,“ You shall be holy; for I am holy.”If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear,knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ,

“ I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

Then I will tell them,‘ I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’

Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.

For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet- smelling fragrance.But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.Therefore don’t be partakers with them.For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

that the rest of men may seek after the Lord; all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another’s foundation.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.

For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are a plain; and he will bring out the capstone with shouts of‘ Grace, grace, to it!’”Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,“ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

To man he said,‘ Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil is understanding.’”

“ So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”

When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; but the righteous stand firm forever.

You who love Yahweh, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;

God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”

For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

For he looked for the city which has the foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies.Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That Yahweh has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people will take refuge.

In that day, says Yahweh of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says Yahweh,‘ and will make you as a signet, for I have chosen you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”

You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,

For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave its engraving,’ says Yahweh of Armies,‘ and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it was founded on the rock.

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.

The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction.
