When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ At your service,” he replied.

Mephibosheth came to David. He was the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul. Mephibosheth bowed down to David to show him respect. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I’m ready to serve you,” he replied.

And Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and paid homage. And David said,“ Mephibosheth!” And he answered,“ Behold, I am your servant.”

His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said,“ Greetings, Mephibosheth.” Mephibosheth replied,“ I am your servant.”

Mephibosheth son of Jonathan son of Saul came to David, fell facedown, and paid homage. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I am your servant,” he replied.

Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said,“ Mephibosheth.” And he said,“ Here is your servant!”

Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said,“ Mephibosheth?” And he answered,“ Here is your servant!”

And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and fell on his face, and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold, thy servant!

掃羅的孫子米非波設也下去迎接王。他自從王離開的那一日，直到王平安回耶路撒冷的日子，沒有修腳，沒有剃鬍鬚，也沒有洗衣服。他來迎接王的時候，王對他說：「米非波設，你為甚麼沒有與我同去呢？」他說：「我主我王啊，我的僕人欺騙了我。那日僕人想要備驢騎上，與王同去，因為僕人是瘸腿的。他卻在我主我王面前毀謗僕人。然而我主我王如同神的使者一樣，你看怎樣好，就怎樣做吧！因為我祖全家的人，在我主我王面前不過是該死的人，王卻使僕人列在王的席上吃飯的人當中，我現在還有甚麼權利能向王請求呢？」王對他說：「你何必再提你的事呢？我說，你與洗巴要平分土地。」米非波設對王說：「我主我王既然平安地回宮，甚至讓洗巴全都拿去也沒關係。」

亞比該看見大衛，就急忙下驢，在大衛面前臉伏於地叩拜。

他自己卻走到他們前面，一連七次俯伏在地才挨近他哥哥。

他舉目觀看，看哪，有三個人站在他附近。他一看見，就從帳棚門口跑去迎接他們，俯伏在地，

僮僕一去，大衛就從南邊出來，俯伏在地，拜了三拜。他們彼此親吻，一起哭泣，大衛哭得更悲哀。
