有人告訴大衛王說：「因神約櫃的緣故，耶和華祝福了俄別·以東的家和一切屬於他的。」大衛就去，歡歡喜喜把神的約櫃從俄別·以東家裡帶上來，帶到大衛城。

或告大衛王曰、耶和華緣上帝之匱、錫嘏於俄別以東家、及凡所有、大衛遂往、懽然舁上帝匱、自俄別以東室、至大衛城、

或告大闢王曰、緣上帝之匱、耶和華錫嘏於阿別以東、暨凡所有。於是大闢往迎上帝之匱、於阿別以東家、歡然舁至大闢邑中。

或告大衛王曰、主因天主之匱、賜福於俄別以東家及凡所有、大衛遂往、由俄別以東家、歡然請天主之匱、至大衛之城、

Now King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed the household of Obed- Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God.” So David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed- Edom to the City of David with rejoicing.

King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed the family of Obed- Edom. He has also blessed everything that belongs to him. That’s because the ark of God is in Obed- Edom’s house.” So David went down there to bring up the ark. With great joy he brought it up from the house of Obed- Edom. He took it to the City of David.

And it was told King David,“ The Lord has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the city of David with rejoicing.

Then King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed Obed edom’s household and everything he has because of the Ark of God.” So David went there and brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed edom to the City of David with a great celebration.

It was reported to King David,“ The LORD has blessed Obed-edom’s family and all that belongs to him because of the ark of God.” So David went and had the ark of God brought up from Obed-edom’s house to the city of David with rejoicing.

Now it was reported to King David, saying,“ The Lord has blessed the house of Obed edom and all that belongs to him, on account of the ark of God.” So David went and brought the ark of God up from the house of Obed edom to the city of David with joy.

Now it was told King David, saying,“ The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness.

And it was told king David, saying, Jehovah hath blessed the house of Obed- edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. And David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed- edom into the city of David with joy.

It was reported to King David:“ The Lord has blessed Obed-edom’s family and all that belongs to him because of the ark of God.” So David went and had the ark of God brought up from Obed-edom’s house to the city of David with rejoicing.

And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that[ pertaineth] unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

David was told,“ The LORD has blessed the family of Obed-Edom and everything he owns because of the ark of God.” So David went and joyfully brought the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David.

King David was told,“ Yahweh has blessed the house of Obed- Edom, and all that belongs to him, because of God’s ark.” So David went and brought up God’s ark from the house of Obed- Edom into David’s city with joy.

無論何人，因為門徒的名，只把一杯涼水給這小子裏的一個喝，我實在告訴你們，這人不能不得賞賜。」

於是，大衛和以色列的長老，並千夫長都去從俄別‧以東的家歡歡喜喜地將耶和華的約櫃擡上來。神賜恩與擡耶和華約櫃的利未人，他們就獻上七隻公牛，七隻公羊。大衛和擡約櫃的利未人，並歌唱人的首領基拿尼雅，以及歌唱的人，都穿着細麻布的外袍；大衛另外穿着細麻布的以弗得。這樣，以色列眾人歡呼吹角、吹號、敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，大發響聲，將耶和華的約櫃擡上來。耶和華的約櫃進了大衛城的時候，掃羅的女兒米甲從窗戶裏觀看，見大衛王踴躍跳舞，心裏就輕視他。眾人將神的約櫃請進去，安放在大衛所搭的帳幕裏，就在神面前獻燔祭和平安祭。大衛獻完了燔祭和平安祭，就奉耶和華的名給民祝福，並且分給以色列人，無論男女，每人一個餅，一塊肉，一個葡萄餅。

那時，所羅門將以色列的長老和各支派的首領，並以色列的族長，招聚到耶路撒冷，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城－就是錫安－運上來。

我們聽說約櫃在以法他，我們在基列‧耶琳就尋見了。我們要進他的居所，在他腳凳前下拜。耶和華啊，求你興起，和你有能力的約櫃同入安息之所！

眾城門哪，你們要擡起頭來！永久的門戶，你們要被舉起！那榮耀的王將要進來！榮耀的王是誰呢？就是有力有能的耶和華，在戰場上有能的耶和華！眾城門哪，你們要擡起頭來！永久的門戶，你們要把頭擡起！那榮耀的王將要進來！榮耀的王是誰呢？萬軍之耶和華，他是榮耀的王！（細拉）

大衛在大衛城為自己建造宮殿，又為神的約櫃預備地方，支搭帳幕。那時大衛說：「除了利未人之外，無人可擡神的約櫃；因為耶和華揀選他們擡神的約櫃，且永遠事奉他。」大衛招聚以色列眾人到耶路撒冷，要將耶和華的約櫃擡到他所預備的地方。

神啊，你是我的神，我的王；人已經看見你行走，進入聖所。歌唱的行在前，作樂的隨在後，都在擊鼓的童女中間。從以色列源頭而來的，當在各會中稱頌主神！在那裏，有統管他們的小便雅憫，有猶大的首領和他們的羣眾，有西布倫的首領，有拿弗他利的首領。
