The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David,“ You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off.” They thought,“ David cannot get in here.”

The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire. (niv)

Zelah, Haeleph, the Jebusite city( that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah and Kiriath— fourteen towns and their villages. This was the inheritance of Benjamin for its clans. (niv)

We will go on to Gibeah.” (niv)

So Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem appealed to Hoham king of Hebron, Piram king of Jarmuth, Japhia king of Lachish and Debir king of Eglon. (niv)

This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, (niv)
