They brought the head of Ish- Bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king,“ Here is the head of Ish- Bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who tried to kill you. This day the Lord has avenged my lord the king against Saul and his offspring.”

They brought the head of Ish- Bosheth to King David at Hebron. They said to him,“ Here’s the head of Ish- Bosheth, the son of Saul. Saul was your enemy. He often tried to kill you. Today the Lord has paid back Saul and his family. He has let you get even with them. You are our king and master.”

and brought the head of Ish-bosheth to David at Hebron. And they said to the king,“ Here is the head of Ish-bosheth, the son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life. The Lord has avenged my lord the king this day on Saul and on his offspring.”

When they arrived at Hebron, they presented Ishbosheth’s head to David.“ Look!” they exclaimed to the king.“ Here is the head of Ishbosheth, the son of your enemy Saul who tried to kill you. Today the Lord has given my lord the king revenge on Saul and his entire family!”

They brought Ish-bosheth’s head to David at Hebron and said to the king,“ Here’s the head of Ish-bosheth son of Saul, your enemy who intended to take your life. Today the LORD has granted vengeance to my lord the king against Saul and his offspring.”

Then they brought the head of Ish bosheth to David at Hebron, and said to the king,“ Behold, the head of Ish bosheth the son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life; so the Lord has given my lord the king vengeance this day on Saul and his descendants.”

And they brought the head of Ishbosheth to David at Hebron, and said to the king,“ Here is the head of Ishbosheth, the son of Saul your enemy, who sought your life; and the Lord has avenged my Lord the king this day of Saul and his descendants.”

And they brought the head of Ish- bosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold, the head of Ish- bosheth, the son of Saul, thine enemy, who sought thy life; and Jehovah hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

They brought Ish-bosheth’s head to David at Hebron and said to the king,“ Here’s the head of Ish-bosheth son of Saul, your enemy who intended to take your life. Today the Lord has granted vengeance to my lord the king against Saul and his offspring.”

And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

They brought the head of Ish-bosheth to David in Hebron, saying to the king,“ Look! The head of Ish-bosheth son of Saul, your enemy who sought your life! The LORD has granted vengeance to my lord the king this day against Saul and his descendants!”

They brought the head of Ishbosheth to David to Hebron, and said to the king,“ Behold, the head of Ishbosheth, the son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life! Yahweh has avenged my lord the king today of Saul, and of his offspring.”

虽有人起来追逼你，要寻索你的性命，我主的性命在耶和华—你的神那里，如同藏在生命的宝藏中。至于你仇敌的性命，耶和华必甩去，如用机弦甩石一样。

大卫看到扫罗出来寻索他的命。那时，他住在西弗旷野的树林里；

扫罗又派一些使者去看大卫，说：“把他连床一起抬到我这里，我好杀他。”

大卫的人对大卫说：“看哪，这日子到了！耶和华曾对你说：‘看哪，我要将你的仇敌交在你手里，你可以照你看为好的对待他。’”大卫就起来，悄悄地割下扫罗外袍的衣角。

扫罗把枪一掷，心里说：“我要将大卫刺透，钉在墙上。”大卫闪避了他两次。

撒督的儿子亚希玛斯说：“让我跑去报信给王，耶和华已经为王伸冤，使他脱离仇敌的手了。”

约拿单告诉大卫说：“我父扫罗想要杀你，现在你要小心，明日早晨留在一个僻静的地方藏起来。我会出去，到你所藏的田里，站在我父亲旁边，与父亲谈论到你。我看情形怎样，会告诉你。”约拿单向他父亲扫罗说大卫的好话，对他说：“王不可得罪王的仆人大卫，因为他未曾得罪你，他所行的对你都很有益处。他拚了命杀那非利士人，并且耶和华为全以色列大施拯救。那时你看见，也很欢喜，现在为何要犯罪，流无辜人的血，无缘无故杀大卫呢？”扫罗听了约拿单的话，就指着永生的耶和华起誓：“我绝不杀他。”约拿单叫大卫来，把这一切事告诉他。约拿单带他去见扫罗，他就像以前一样侍立在扫罗面前。此后又有战争，大卫出去与非利士人打仗。他大大击败他们，他们就在他面前逃跑。从耶和华来的邪灵又降在扫罗身上，扫罗手里拿枪坐在屋里，大卫正用手弹琴。扫罗想要用枪刺透大卫，把他钉在墙上，他却躲开扫罗，扫罗的枪刺入墙内。当夜大卫逃走，躲起来了。扫罗派一些使者到大卫的房屋那里守着他，等到天亮要杀他。大卫的妻子米甲对大卫说：“你今夜若不逃命，明日就要被杀。”

天哪，众圣徒、众使徒、众先知啊！你们都要因她欢喜，因为神已经在她身上为你们伸了冤。”

看哪，古实人也来到，说：“有信息报给我主我王！耶和华今日为你伸冤，使你脱离一切起来攻击你之人的手。”

说：“起来，带着小孩子和他母亲回以色列地去！因为要杀害这小孩子的人已经死了。”

大声喊着说：“神圣真实的主宰啊，你不审判住在地上的人，为我们所流的血伸冤，要到几时呢？”

但那些寻索要灭我命的人必往地底下去；他们必被刀剑所杀，成为野狗的食物。

这位神为我伸冤，使万民服在我以下。

神的选民昼夜呼吁他，他岂会延迟不给他们伸冤吗？我告诉你们，他很快就要给他们伸冤。然而，人子来的时候，能在世上找到这样的信德吗？”

我的舌头也必终日讲论你的公义，因为那些谋害我的人已经蒙羞受辱了。

大卫从拉玛的拿约逃跑，来到约拿单面前，对他说：“我做了什么，有什么罪孽，在你父亲面前犯了什么罪，他竟要寻索我的性命呢？”
