After crossing the Jordan, they camped near Aroer, south of the town in the gorge, and then went through Gad and on to Jazer.

摩西打發人去偵探雅謝，以色列人就攻取了雅謝的廂鎮，把在那裏的亞摩利人趕走。

亞蘭的城市必被撇棄，作為羊羣的住處；羊必躺在那裏，也沒有人驚嚇牠們。

那在亞羅珥的、那在息末的、那在以實提莫的、

因為希實本的田園疲弊，西比瑪的葡萄樹衰殘；其枝藤曾擊倒了列國的君主，達到雅謝，蔓延到曠野；它生出的枝條曾四散伸展，越過鹽海。因此我要為西比瑪的葡萄樹而哀哭，用雅謝人的哀哭來哭。希實本、以利亞利啊，我要用眼淚浸透你；因為你收取果子收割莊稼時，有戰爭的高喊聲降臨了。
