说：“我主我王为何来到仆人这里呢？”大卫说：“我要买你这禾场，为耶和华筑一座坛，使民间的瘟疫止住。”

亚劳拿说：“我主我王为何来到仆人这里呢？”大卫说：“我要买你这禾场，为耶和华筑一座坛，使瘟疫在百姓中停止。”

亚劳拿说：“我主我王为何来到仆人这里呢？”大卫说：“我要买你这禾场，为耶和华筑一座坛，使瘟疫在百姓中停止。”

说：“我主我王到仆人这里有什么事？”大卫说：“我要买你的麦场，好在这里为耶和华筑一座坛，使百姓当中的瘟疫止住。”

說：「我主我王到僕人這裡有什麼事？」大衛說：「我要買你的麥場，好在這裡為耶和華築一座壇，使百姓當中的瘟疫止住。」

亞勞拿問：“我主我王為甚麼來到你僕人這裡呢？”大衛回答：“是要向你買這打禾場，好為耶和華築一座祭壇，使民間的瘟疫可以止住。”

亞勞拿說：『我主我王為甚麼來到僕人這裏呢？』大衛說：『是要從你買這禾場，好為永恆主築座祭壇，使疫症可以被抑制住、不再流行於民間。』

曰、我主我王蒞臨僕所曷故、大衛曰、欲購禾場、為耶和華築壇、使疫止於民間、

Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?”“ To buy your threshing floor,” David answered,“ so I can build an altar to the Lord, that the plague on the people may be stopped.”

Araunah said,“ King David, you are my master. Why have you come to see me?”“ To buy your threshing floor,” David answered.“ I want to build an altar there to honor the Lord. When I do, the plague on the people will be stopped.”

And Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David said,“ To buy the threshing floor from you, in order to build an altar to the Lord, that the plague may be averted from the people.”

“ Why have you come, my lord the king?” Araunah asked. David replied,“ I have come to buy your threshing floor and to build an altar to the Lord there, so that he will stop the plague.”

Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David replied,“ To buy the threshing floor from you in order to build an altar to the LORD, so the plague on the people may be halted.”

Then Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” And David said,“ To buy the threshing floor from you, in order to build an altar to the Lord, so that the plague may be withdrawn from the people.”

Then Araunah said,“ Why has my Lord the king come to his servant?” And David said,“ To buy the threshing floor from you, to build an altar to the Lord, that the plague may be withdrawn from the people.”

And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing- floor of thee, to build an altar unto Jehovah, that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David replied,“ To buy the threshing floor from you in order to build an altar to the Lord, so the plague on the people may be halted.”

And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David replied,“ To buy from you the threshing floor so I can build an altar for the LORD, so that the plague may be removed from the people.”

Araunah said,“ Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David said,“ To buy your threshing floor, to build an altar to Yahweh, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”

那時非尼哈站出來干預，瘟疫才被止住。

對他們說：「如果你們有心讓我把死者從我身旁移去安葬，就聽我說，為我請求瑣哈爾的兒子以弗崙，把他田邊的麥比拉洞穴賣給我，並按足價在你們面前賣給我，作為我擁有的墳地。」當時以弗崙正坐在赫提的子孫們中間。赫提人以弗崙就回應亞伯拉罕，當著所有來到城門口的赫提子孫的面，說：「不，我主啊，請聽我說！我把這塊田地送給你，其中的洞穴也送給你。我在我族人眼前把它送給你；你安葬你的死者吧！」亞伯拉罕就在那地的民眾面前下拜，然後當著那地民眾的面，對以弗崙說：「如果你願意，就請聽我說！我要把這塊田地的銀價付給你，請你收下，好讓我在那裡安葬我的死者。」以弗崙回應亞伯拉罕，說：「我主啊，請聽我說！四百謝克爾銀子的這塊地，在你我之間算什麼呢？你安葬你的死者吧！」亞伯拉罕聽了，就照以弗崙在赫提子孫們面前所說的銀價，給他稱了四百謝克爾商用的銀子。

那一天，迦得來見大衛，對他說：「你上去，在耶布斯人亞勞拿的打穀場上為耶和華立一座祭壇。」

約押對王說：「願耶和華你的神使軍兵增添到現在的一百倍，讓我主我王親眼看見。我主我王何必想做這事呢？」

大衛問基遍人：「我該為你們做些什麼呢？我該怎樣贖罪，使你們祝福耶和華的繼業呢？」基遍人回答：「我們和掃羅以及他家之間的問題與金銀無關，我們也不要殺以色列中的任何人。」大衛說：「那你們自己說，我該為你們做些什麼？」他們就對王說：「對於那消滅我們，企圖除滅我們，使我們不能在以色列境內立足的人，請從他的子孫中交給我們七個男丁，我們要在掃羅的基比亞——耶和華的揀選之地，在耶和華面前把他們處死示眾。」王說：「我會交出來。」王顧惜掃羅的孫子、約拿單的兒子米非波設，因為大衛和掃羅的兒子約拿單在耶和華面前起過誓。王就選了阿亞的女兒利斯巴為掃羅所生的兩個兒子亞摩尼和米非波設，以及掃羅的女兒米拉為米何拉人巴爾兹萊的兒子亞得列所生的五個兒子，把他們交在基遍人手裡。基遍人在山上、在耶和華面前把他們處死示眾；他們七人一起死了。他們被處死時正是收割季節之初，開始收大麥的時候。阿亞的女兒利斯巴拿來麻布，在磐石上為自己展開，從開始收割的時候直到天降雨水在他們屍體上；她白天不讓天空的飛鳥停落，夜間也不讓田野的走獸靠近。有人把掃羅的妃嬪、阿亞的女兒利斯巴所做的事報告給大衛。大衛就去把掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨從基列-雅比人那裡運來；原來，非利士人在基利波山殺死掃羅的日子，把他們掛在伯珊的廣場上，後來基列-雅比人從那裡把他們偷走了。大衛把掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨帶上來，人們也收殮了那些被處死示眾者的骸骨。又把掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨葬在便雅憫地的洗拉，就是掃羅父親基士的墳墓裡；他們做了王所吩咐的一切。此後，神就應允了為那地所做的祈求。
