He appointed some of the Levites to serve before the ark of the LORD, to offer prayers, songs of thanks, and hymns to the LORD God of Israel.Asaph was the leader and Zechariah second in command, followed by Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. They were to play stringed instruments; Asaph was to sound the cymbals;

“ I myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill.”

The LORD shatters his adversaries; he thunders against them from the heavens. The LORD executes judgment to the ends of the earth. He will strengthen his king and exalt the power of his anointed one.”

Indeed, as long as I am in this tabernacle, I consider it right to stir you up by way of a reminder,since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me.Indeed, I will also make every effort that, after my departure, you have a testimony of these things.
