王和跟随他的众百姓来了，非常疲乏，就在那里歇息。

当将你的粮食撒在水面上，因为日子久了，你必能得着它。将你所拥有的分给七人，或八人，因为你不知道会有什么灾祸临到地上。

又有希律的管家苦撒的妻子约亚拿，和苏撒拿以及好些别的妇女，她们都是用自己的财物供给耶稣和使徒。

基甸和跟随他的三百人来到约旦河，渡了过去；他们虽然疲乏，还是追赶。基甸对疏割人说：“请你们拿几块饼来给跟随我的百姓，因为他们疲乏了。我正在追击米甸王西巴和撒慕拿。”疏割人的领袖回答说：“西巴和撒慕拿的手掌现在已经在你手里，因此我们该将饼送给你的军队吗？”

你们要尝尝主恩的滋味，便知道他是美善；投靠他的人有福了！耶和华的圣民哪，你们当敬畏他，因敬畏他的一无所缺。少壮狮子尚且缺食忍饿，但寻求耶和华的什么好处都不缺。

圣徒有缺乏，要供给；异乡客，要殷勤款待。

提玛地的居民哪，提水来迎接口渴的人，带饼来迎接难民。

再拿这十块奶饼，送给他们的千夫长，并要问你哥哥好，向他们要个凭据回来。”

因为耶和华神是太阳，是盾牌，耶和华要赐下恩惠和荣耀。他未尝留下福气不给那些行动正直的人。

腓立比人哪，你们也知道我开始传福音、离开马其顿的时候，在收支的事上，除了你们以外，并没有别的教会和我分担。就是我在帖撒罗尼迦，你们也一再差人来供给我的需用。我并不求什么馈赠，只求你们的果子不断增多，归在你们的账上。但我已经如数收到，并且有余；我已经充足，因我从以巴弗提受了你们的馈赠，当作极美的香气，为神所接纳、所喜悦的祭物。我的神必照他荣耀的丰富，在基督耶稣里，使你们一切所需用的都充足。

我必趁他疲乏手软的时候追上他，使他惊惶。跟随他的众百姓必都逃跑，我就只杀王一个人。

岂不是要你把食物分给饥饿的人，将流浪的穷人接到家中，见赤身的给他衣服遮体，而不隐藏自己避开你的骨肉吗？
