Then Hushai the Arkite, David’s confidant, went to Absalom and said to him,“ Long live the king! Long live the king!”

祭司领王子出来，给他戴上冠冕，将律法书交给他，膏他作王；众人就拍掌说：“愿王万岁！”

撒母耳对众民说：“你们看耶和华所拣选的人，众民中有可比他的吗？”众民就大声欢呼说：“愿王万岁！”

他今日下去，宰了许多牛羊、肥犊，请了王的众子和军长，并祭司亚比亚他；他们正在亚多尼雅面前吃喝，说：‘愿亚多尼雅王万岁！’

但以理对王说：“愿王万岁！

于是，总长和总督纷纷聚集来见王，说：“愿大流士王万岁！

迦勒底人用亚兰的言语对王说：“愿王万岁！请将那梦告诉仆人，仆人就可以讲解。”

太后因王和他大臣所说的话，就进入宴宫，说：“愿王万岁！你心意不要惊惶，脸面不要变色。

在那里，祭司撒督和先知拿单要膏他作以色列的王；你们也要吹角，说：‘愿所罗门王万岁！’

于是，大卫的朋友户筛进了城；押沙龙也进了耶路撒冷。

前行后随的众人喊着说：“和散那归于大卫的子孙！奉主名来的是应当称颂的！高高在上和散那！”
