But the king said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord has said to him,‘ Curse David,’ who then shall say,‘ Why have you done so?’”

王说：“洗鲁雅的儿子，我与你们有何关涉呢？他咒骂是因耶和华吩咐他说：‘你要咒骂大卫。’如此，谁敢说你为什么这样行呢？”

王说：“洗鲁雅的儿子，我与你们有何相干呢？他这样咒骂是因耶和华吩咐他：‘你要咒骂大卫。’如此，谁敢说：‘你为什么这样做呢？’”

王说：“洗鲁雅的儿子，我与你们有何相干呢？他这样咒骂是因耶和华吩咐他：‘你要咒骂大卫。’如此，谁敢说：‘你为什么这样做呢？’”

王却说：“洗鲁雅的儿子啊，不要管我的事。如果是耶和华叫他来咒骂我，谁能干涉他呢？”

王说：“洗鲁雅的儿子啊，我与你们有什么关系呢？如果他咒骂是因为耶和华对他说：‘你要咒骂大卫！’那么谁敢说：‘你为什么这样作呢？’”

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何關涉呢？他咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他說：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說你為甚麼這樣行呢？」

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何相干呢？他這樣咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說：『你為甚麼這樣做呢？』」

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何相干呢？他這樣咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說：『你為甚麼這樣做呢？』」

王卻說：「洗魯雅的兒子啊，不要管我的事。如果是耶和華叫他來咒罵我，誰能干涉他呢？」

王說：“洗魯雅的兒子啊，我與你們有甚麼關係呢？如果他咒罵是因為耶和華對他說：‘你要咒罵大衛！’那麼誰敢說：‘你為甚麼這樣作呢？’”

王說：『洗魯雅的兒子啊，你們與我就不同意了。他咒罵，若是因為永恆主吩咐他「要咒罵大衛」那麼誰敢說：「你為甚麼這樣行呢？」』

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子們，我與你們有什麼關係呢？如果他這樣咒罵是因為耶和華吩咐他『你要詛咒大衛』，那麼誰能說『你為什麼這樣做呢？』」

王曰、洗魯雅子、我與爾何與、彼詛大衛、因耶和華命其詛之、孰敢言胡為行此乎、

王曰、西魯雅之子我與爾何與、耶和華使之詛大闢、誰能禦之、聽其咒詛可也。

王曰、爾西魯雅子乎、我與爾曹何與、聽其咒詛、蓋主命之曰、爾可詛大衛也、誰可問主曰、爾何為行此、

But the king said,“ What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him,‘ Curse David,’ who can ask,‘ Why do you do this?’”

But the king said,“ You and Joab are sons of Zeruiah. What does this have to do with you? Maybe the Lord said to him,‘ Curse David.’ If he did, who can ask him,‘ Why are you doing this?’ ”

“ No!” the king said.“ Who asked your opinion, you sons of Zeruiah! If the Lord has told him to curse me, who are you to stop him?”

The king replied,“ Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? He curses me this way because the LORD told him,‘ Curse David!’ Therefore, who can say,‘ Why did you do that?’”

But the king said,“ What business of mine is yours, you sons of Zeruiah? If he curses, and if the Lord has told him,‘ Curse David,’ then who should say,‘ Why have you done so?’ ”

But the king said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? So let him curse, because the Lord has said to him,‘ Curse David.’ Who then shall say,‘ Why have you done so?’”

And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? Because he curseth, and because Jehovah hath said unto him, Curse David; who then shall say, Wherefore hast thou done so?

The king replied,“ Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? He curses me this way because the Lord told him,‘ Curse David!’ Therefore, who can say,‘ Why did you do that?’”

And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?

But the king said,“ What do we have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? If he curses because the LORD has said to him,‘ Curse David!’, who can say to him,‘ Why have you done this?’”

The king said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because Yahweh has said to him,‘ Curse David;’ who then shall say,‘ Why have you done so?’”

But David said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should this day be as an adversary to me? Shall anyone be put to death in Israel this day? For do I not know that I am this day king over Israel?”

But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder,“ Why have you made me like this?”

And I was gentle today, though anointed king. These men, the sons of Zeruiah, are more severe than I. The Lord repay the evildoer according to his wickedness!”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.

Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying,‘ I will entice him.’And the Lord said to him,‘ By what means?’ And he said,‘ I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said,‘ You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that good and bad come?Why should a living man complain, a man, about the punishment of his sins?

Behold, he snatches away; who can turn him back? Who will say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

Moreover, is it without the Lord that I have come up against this place to destroy it? The Lord said to me,“ Go up against this land and destroy it.”’”

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

“ Moreover, you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, how he dealt with the two commanders of the armies of Israel, Abner the son of Ner, and Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed, avenging in time of peace for blood that had been shed in war, and putting the blood of war on the belt around his waist and on the sandals on his feet.

But he turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said,“ Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”But he turned and rebuked them.And they went on to another village.

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”
