王對撒督說：『你將上帝的櫃抬回城去；我若在永恆主眼前蒙恩，他就會使我回來、再見那櫃和他的居所。

王對撒督說：「把神的約櫃抬回城去吧。如果我在耶和華眼前蒙恩，他必讓我回來，再看到約櫃和他的居所。

王謂撒督曰、舁上帝匱返城、若我蒙恩於耶和華前、必使我反、見匱及其居所、

王謂撒督曰、舁上帝之匱入城、如我蒙恩於耶和華前、則將使我反、見匱亦見聖幕。

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Take the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, he will bring me back and let me see it and his dwelling place again.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Take the ark of God back into the city. If the Lord is pleased with me, he’ll bring me back. He’ll let me see the ark again. He’ll also let me see Jerusalem again. That’s the place where he lives.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me back and let me see both it and his dwelling place.

Then the king instructed Zadok to take the Ark of God back into the city.“ If the Lord sees fit,” David said,“ he will bring me back to see the Ark and the Tabernacle again.

Then the king instructed Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor with the LORD, he will bring me back and allow me to see both it and its dwelling place.

And the king said to Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the sight of the Lord, then He will bring me back and show me both it and His habitation.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place.

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favor in the eyes of Jehovah, he will bring me again, and show me both it, and his habitation:

Then the king instructed Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, He will bring me back and allow me to see both it and its dwelling place.

是的，在你的院宇中一日，好过在别处千日；我宁愿在我神的殿中看门，也不愿住在恶人的帐篷里；

耶和华啊，我爱你所住的殿，你荣耀所居之处！

求你发出你的光和真理，愿它们引导我，将我带到你的圣山，带到你的住所。我就来到神的祭坛，来到神——我最大的喜乐那里；神哪，我的神，我要用竖琴称谢你！

万军之耶和华啊，你的住所多么令人爱慕！我的灵魂切慕渴想耶和华的院宇；我的心和我的肉体向永生的神欢呼。万军之耶和华，我的王，我的神哪！在你的祭坛那里，连雀鸟也找到了家，燕子为自己找到了安置幼雏的窝巢。

为了耶和华我们神的殿，我要为你求福份。

神哪，我的灵魂切慕你，如鹿切慕溪水！我的灵魂渴想神，渴想永生的神。我什么时候能去见神的面呢？

我欢喜，因人们对我说：“让我们到耶和华的殿去吧！”

军队回到营地中，以色列的长老们说：“为什么今天耶和华让我们败在非利士人面前呢？我们把耶和华的约柜从示罗带到我们这里吧，让约柜来到我们当中，拯救我们脱离仇敌的手！”于是民众派人去示罗，从那里把坐在基路伯之上的万军之耶和华的约柜抬来，以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也跟着神的约柜来了。当耶和华的约柜来到营地时，全体以色列人大声欢呼，那地都震动了。非利士人听见了欢呼的声音，就说：“希伯来人营地中有这么大的欢呼声是怎么回事呢？”随后得知是耶和华的约柜来到了那营地。非利士人就害怕，说：“有神来到他们营地了！”又说：“我们有祸了！从来没有这样的事。我们有祸了！谁能解救我们脱离这大能之神的手呢？这神就是在旷野用各种灾害击打埃及人的那一位。非利士人哪，你们要坚强，要作大丈夫，免得你们服事希伯来人，就像他们曾服事你们一样。你们要作大丈夫，要战斗！”于是非利士人进攻，以色列人被击败，各人逃回自己的帐篷。那是一场极大的杀戮，以色列的步兵倒毙了三万。神的约柜被夺去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也死了。

希西加却问：“有什么征兆来证明我会上耶和华的殿呢？”

有一件事我求过耶和华，这件事我还要求问，就是在我一生所有的日子里，可以居住在耶和华的殿中，仰望耶和华的恩慈，在他的圣殿中寻求；因为在灾祸的日子里，他必将我藏在他的帐幕中，隐藏在他帐篷的隐秘处，又将我高举到磐石上；

神哪，你是我的神，我切切寻求你！在干旱、疲乏、无水之地，我的灵魂渴想你，我的肉体渴盼你。因此我在圣所中仰望你，为要看见你的能力和荣耀。
