约拿达对他说：“你可以躺在床上装病。你父亲来看你的时候，你就对他说：‘求你叫我的妹妹他玛来，把食物递给我吃；叫她在我眼前预备食物，好使我可以看见，也可以从她的手中取食。’”

約拿達說：「你不如躺在牀上裝病；你父親來看你，就對他說：『求父叫我妹子她瑪來，在我眼前預備食物，遞給我吃，使我看見，好從她手裏接過來吃。』」

約拿達曰、可臥於牀、佯為遘疾、父來視爾、則謂之曰、請容我妹他瑪至此、以食與我、備於我前、使我見之、我由其手受而食之、

約拿撻曰、爾佯為遘病、委頓床笫、父來問時、則求之曰、容我妹大馬至此、於我前備餚、親授於我、俾我饜飫。

“ Go to bed and pretend to be ill,” Jonadab said.“ When your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ I would like my sister Tamar to come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare the food in my sight so I may watch her and then eat it from her hand.’”

“ Go to bed,” Jonadab said.“ Pretend to be sick. Your father will come to see you. When he does, tell him,‘ I would like my sister Tamar to come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare the food right here in front of me where I can watch her. Then she can feed it to me.’ ”

Jonadab said to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill. And when your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ Let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.’”

“ Well,” Jonadab said,“ I’ll tell you what to do. Go back to bed and pretend you are ill. When your father comes to see you, ask him to let Tamar come and prepare some food for you. Tell him you’ll feel better if she prepares it as you watch and feeds you with her own hands.”

Jonadab said to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend you’re sick. When your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ Please let my sister Tamar come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare a meal in my presence so I can watch and eat from her hand.’”

Jonadab then said to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill; when your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ Please have my sister Tamar come and give me food to eat, and have her prepare the food in my sight, so that I may see it and eat from her hand.’ ”

So Jonadab said to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill. And when your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ Please let my sister Tamar come and give me food, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.’”

And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and feign thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, Let my sister Tamar come, I pray thee, and give me bread to eat, and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it from her hand.

Jonadab said to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend you’re sick. When your father comes to see you, say to him,‘ Please let my sister Tamar come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare food in my presence so I can watch and eat from her hand.’”

And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see[ it], and eat[ it] at her hand.

Jonadab replied to him,“ Lie down on your bed and pretend to be sick. When your father comes in to see you, say to him,‘ Please let my sister Tamar come in so she can fix some food for me. Let her prepare the food in my sight so I can watch. Then I will eat from her hand.’”

Jonadab said to him,“ Lay down on your bed, and pretend to be sick. When your father comes to see you, tell him,‘ Please let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it from her hand.’”

所以你們和議會現在就要告訴千夫長，把保羅帶到你們這裡來，假裝要更詳盡地審查他的事；我們預備好了，要在他到達以前就殺了他。」

你看見竊賊時，就喜悅與他在一起，你又與通姦的人一同有份。你讓你的口發出惡言，讓你的舌編造謊話。

亞希多弗對押沙龍說：「你去與你父親所留下看守宮殿的妃嬪們同房，這樣全以色列都會聽到你被你父親憎惡，所有隨同你的人就更加堅強。」於是他們為押沙龍在屋頂上支搭了一座帳篷，押沙龍就在以色列公眾眼前與他父親的妃嬪們同房。在那些日子，亞希多弗所提的建議如同人向神求得的話語。亞希多弗的所有建議，無論是給大衛的還是給押沙龍的，都是如此。亞希多弗對押沙龍說：「請讓我挑選一萬兩千人，今夜就動身追趕大衛。我要趁他困倦手發軟的時候追上他，讓他恐慌，這樣隨同他的人都會逃跑。我只擊殺王，讓所有人都歸順你，就像他們曾都歸順你所尋索的那人一樣；所有人必平安無事。」這建議在押沙龍和以色列所有長老眼中都看為好。

於是女孩出去問她母親說：「我應該要什麼呢？」她母親說：「要施洗者約翰的頭！」女孩隨即趕快進到王那裡，要求說：「我願王立即把施洗者約翰的頭放在盤子裡給我。」

我兒啊，你如果停止聽從管教，就會偏離知識的言語！
