The day you try to avoid by posting watchmen– your appointed time of punishment– is on the way, and then you will experience confusion.Do not rely on a friend; do not trust a companion! Don’t even share secrets with the one who lies in your arms!

Moreover, keep me from committing flagrant sins; do not allow such sins to control me. Then I will be blameless, and innocent of blatant rebellion.

The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it?
