耶弗他止有一女、別無子女、返米斯巴、至己家、其女執鼗、舞蹈出迎、

亞倫姊女先知米利暗、手執鼗、諸女亦執鼗相從、舞蹈而出、米利暗和之曰、爾其歌頌耶和華、以其顯榮獲勝、馬與騎者、俱投於海、○

耶和華之神大感參孫、遂下亞實基倫、殺三十人、褫其衣、以給解隱語者、盛怒而返父家、

大衛謂旁立之人曰、有人殺此非利士人、洒以色列人之辱、將如何待之、此未受割之非利士人為誰、而可侮維生上帝之軍乎、

我曰、將散之於遠方、絕其誌於人間、第恐敵人激我、仇人誤視、自謂我手力大、非耶和華所行、

非利士牧伯集眾、大祭其神大袞、而取歡樂、曰、我神以敵參孫付於我手、民見之、則頌讚其神曰、我神付敵於我手、彼乃敗我邦國、殺我多人者也、

故我伸手爾上、滅爾糈糧、付爾於敵、即羞爾淫行之非利士女、任意以待、

其時爾惡未彰、亞蘭諸女、及四周非利士諸女、猶未輕視爾、

翌日、非利士人來剝尸、見掃羅及三子、仆於基利波山、乃斬掃羅首、剝其鎧甲、遣使至非利士四境、傳於偶像之廟、以及民間、

謂執兵者曰、爾其拔劍刺我、免未受割者至、刺而侮我、執兵者懼甚、不敢奉命、掃羅遂伏劍而死、

爾僕殺獅與熊、此未受割之非利士人、侮維生上帝之軍、亦必如斯獸之一焉、
