On the third day a man arrived from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dust on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the ground to pay him honor.

当天有一个便雅悯人逃出了战场，他撕烂衣服，头蒙灰尘，来到示罗。

在洗革拉曾有人向我报信说扫罗死了，他以为是来报喜讯，我抓住他，把他杀了。那就是我给他的报酬。

亚比该看见大卫，连忙下驴俯伏下拜。

约书亚和以色列的长老便撕裂衣服，把灰撒在头上，俯伏在耶和华的约柜面前，直到晚上。

“你去召集书珊城所有的犹太人为我禁食，三天三夜不吃不喝，我和我的宫女也要这样禁食。然后，我要违例去见王，我若死就死吧。”

大卫来到山顶敬拜上帝的地方，看见亚基人户筛撕破了衣服，头蒙灰尘前来迎接他。

看啊！我要使撒旦的同伙，就是那些假冒犹太人的说谎者，在你面前俯伏下拜，让他们知道你是我所疼爱的。

提哥亚妇人来到王面前，俯伏在地上说：“王啊，求你救救我吧！”

吕便回到井边发现约瑟不见了，就伤心地撕裂了身上的衣服，

到了第三天，亚伯拉罕远远看见那地方，

你们要撕心般地悔改，而不是撕裂衣服。归向你们的上帝耶和华吧，因为祂有恩典和怜悯，不轻易发怒，有无限的慈爱，不忍心降灾祸。

要对上帝说：“你的作为令人敬畏！你的大能使敌人屈膝投降。

第三天，以斯帖身穿朝服进入王宫内院，面对大殿站立，王在殿里正面朝宫门坐在宝座上。

约拿在大鱼腹中三日三夜，人子也要在地里三日三夜。

少年离开以后，大卫就从磐石南面出来，伏地拜了三拜。二人彼此亲吻，抱头痛哭，大卫更是泣不成声。

雅各撕裂自己的衣服，束上麻布，为约瑟哀伤了好几天。

过两天，祂必复兴我们；第三天，祂必使我们站立起来，在祂面前存活。

报信的人对以利说：“我今天是从战场逃回来的。”以利问：“我的孩子，情况怎么样？”

从此以后，耶稣开始清楚地指示门徒，祂必须去耶路撒冷，受长老、祭司长和律法教师许多的迫害，并且被处死，但第三天必从死里复活。

他们回答说：“你仆人——我们的父亲仍然健在、安康。”说完了，又向他下拜。
