不要讓任何人用任何方法把你們欺騙了；因為那日子來臨以前，必定先有離道反教之事來到，並且那不法之人，就是那滅亡之子也會被顯露出來。

可是你照著頑固和不悔改的心，為那震怒的日子，就是神公義審判顯現的日子，給自己積蓄了震怒。

你所看見的那獸，先前在而現今不在，並將要從無底坑裡上來，然後走向滅亡。住在地上的人，凡是名字從創世以來沒有被記在生命冊上的，看見那先前在而現今不在，並將要出現的獸時，都會感到驚奇。

天地將要消亡，你卻繼續存留；天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊，你把它們像衣袍那樣更換，它們就消逝了；

至於那些想發財的人就會陷入試探、網羅以及很多無知有害的欲望裡；這些欲望使人沉溺在敗壞和滅亡中。

我們的神來臨，絕不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴風在他四圍颳起。

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。

在任何事上都不被反對你們的人嚇倒——這對他們是滅亡的證明，而對你們卻是得救的證明，並且這是出於神。

不過我告訴你們：在那審判的日子，提爾和西頓所受的，將要比你們還容易受呢！

我確實地告訴你們：在那審判的日子，所多瑪和格摩拉之地所受的，將要比那城還容易受呢！

同樣，所多瑪、格摩拉及其周圍的城市，照著他們的樣子放縱行淫，隨從變態的肉慾，就遭受永火的刑罰，成為我們的鑒戒。

我告訴你們：人所說的每一句無益的話，在那審判的日子，句句都要做出交代，

那先前在而現今不在的獸，自己就是第八個，也是屬於那七個，並且要走向滅亡。
