“主要降临的应许在哪里？从我们的祖先长眠地下直到现在，万物依旧与创世之初一样。”

并且说：“他来临的应许在哪里呢？其实自从祖先睡了以来，一切都继续存留，与创世之初一样。”

謂降臨之許安在、自列祖寢時、萬物與初創無異、

造物以來、列祖云亡、萬物如故、主許復臨、則未之見、

所許主復臨之言、應驗安在、自列祖去世去世原文作寢以來、萬物如故、與創造之始無異、

『造物以來、烈祖云亡、萬物如故；臨格之言、而今安在？』

They will say,“ Where is this‘ coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

They will say,“ Where is this‘ return’ he promised? Everything goes on in the same way it has since our people of long ago died. In fact, it has continued this way since God first created everything.”

They will say,“ Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

They will say,“ What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”

saying,“ Where is his‘ coming’ that he promised? Ever since our ancestors fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.”

and saying,“ Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.”

and saying,“ Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as[ they were] from the beginning of the creation.

and saying,“ Where is his promised return? For ever since our ancestors died, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Hear how they keep challenging me,“ Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come!”

You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you ask,“ How have we wearied Him?” When you say,“ Everyone who does what is evil is good in the Lord’s sight, and He is pleased with them,” or“ Where is the God of justice?”

Because the sentence against a criminal act is not carried out quickly, the heart of people is filled with the desire to commit crime.

They have contradicted the Lord and insisted,“ It won’t happen. Harm won’t come to us; we won’t see sword or famine.”The prophets become only wind, for the Lord’s word is not in them. This will in fact happen to them.

But if that wicked slave says in his heart,‘ My master is delayed,’

Woe to those who drag wickedness with cords of deceit and pull sin along with cart ropes,to those who say:“ Let Him hurry up and do His work quickly so that we can see it! Let the plan of the Holy One of Israel take place so that we can know it!”

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were going to marry his daughters.“ Get up,” he said.“ Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

But if that slave says in his heart,‘ My master is delaying his coming,’ and starts to beat the male and female slaves, and to eat and drink and get drunk,

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.

“ Son of man, what is this proverb you people have about the land of Israel, which goes: The days keep passing by, and every vision fails?Therefore say to them: This is what the Lord God says: I will put a stop to this proverb, and they will not use it again in Israel. But say to them: The days draw near, as well as the fulfillment of every vision.For there will no longer be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.But I, Yahweh, will speak whatever message I will speak, and it will be done. It will no longer be delayed. For in your days, rebellious house, I will speak a message and bring it to pass.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.The word of the Lord came to me:“ Son of man, notice that the house of Israel is saying,‘ The vision that he sees concerns many years from now; he prophesies about distant times.’

For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again!

But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female.

They are saying,‘ Isn’t the time near to build houses? The city is the pot, and we are the meat.’

For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?
