他們曾經對你們說：“末世必有好譏笑人的人，隨著自己不敬虔的私慾行事。”

聖靈明明地說，日後必有人離棄信仰，跟從虛謊的邪靈和鬼魔的教訓。這教訓是出於說謊的人的虛偽，他們的良心好像被燒紅的鐵烙了一般。

這些人常發牢騷，怨天尤人，順著自己的私慾行事，口說誇張的話，為了利益就不惜阿諛奉承。

最要緊的，你們應當知道：聖經所有的預言，都不是先知自己的見解，

卻把暗昧可恥的事棄絕了；不行詭詐，不摻混神的道，反而藉著顯揚真理，在神面前把自己推薦給眾人的良心。

你應當知道，末後的日子必有艱難的時期來到。

好譏笑人的尋找智慧，卻尋不著；聰明人尋找知識，卻輕易得著。

“你們愚蒙人喜愛愚蒙，好譏笑的人喜歡譏笑，愚昧人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？

他譏笑那些好譏笑的人，卻賜恩給謙卑的人。

因為強暴人歸於無有，好譏笑人的必被滅絕；所有意圖行惡的，必被剪除。

因此好譏笑人的人哪！就是管轄這些在耶路撒冷的人民的，你們要聽耶和華的話。

在我們王喜慶的日子，領袖們因酒的烈性而生病，王就與褻慢人聯手。

孩子們，現在是末世的時候了。你們聽過敵基督者要來，現在已經有不少敵基督起來了；因此我們就知道這是末世的時候了。
