and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the perverted conduct of unscrupulous people

只搭救了那常为恶人淫行忧伤的义人罗得。（

只搭救了那常为恶人的淫荡忧伤的义人罗得—

只搭救了那常为恶人的淫荡忧伤的义人罗得—

祂只拯救了因恶人的淫乱放荡而忧伤的义人罗得，

只救了那因恶人的淫行而常受委屈的义人罗得；

既然神拯救了那因恶人的好色行为而哀伤的义人罗得——

只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。（

只搭救了那常為惡人的淫蕩憂傷的義人羅得－

只搭救了那常為惡人的淫蕩憂傷的義人羅得－

祂只拯救了因惡人的淫亂放蕩而憂傷的義人羅得，

只救了那因惡人的淫行而常受委屈的義人羅得；

只援救了義人羅得，那被逆天者之邪蕩生活所壓傷的；那義人住在他們中間的時候、

既然神拯救了那因惡人的好色行為而哀傷的義人羅得——

惟拯義者羅得、即以惡人之淫佚為殷憂者、

惟義士羅得以黨惡邪僻為深憂、故上帝救之、

惟救義人羅得、彼因惡人邪僻之行而深憂、

當時所全者、惟憂心悄悄、慍於群小之義士羅德一人而已

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless

God saved Lot, a man who did what was right. Lot was shocked by the evil conduct of people who didn’t obey God’s laws.

and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked

But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him.

and if he rescued righteous Lot, distressed by the depraved behavior of the immoral

and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked

and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked

and if He rescued righteous Lot, distressed by the unrestrained behavior of the immoral

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless men,

and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked

But he hesitated. So the men grasped his hand and the hand of his wife and the hands of his two daughters, because the compassion of the Lord was upon him; and they brought him out and put him outside the city.

So it came about, when God destroyed the cities of the surrounding area, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the destruction, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.

No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Now the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked sinners against the Lord.

and said,“ Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.Now look, I have two daughters who have not had relations with any man; please let me bring them out to you, and do to them whatever you like; only do not do anything to these men, because they have come under the shelter of my roof.”

As for the prophets: My heart is broken within me, All my bones tremble; I have become like a drunken man, And like a man overcome by wine, Because of the Lord And because of His holy words.

Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” Therefore the town was named Zoar.

Oh, that my head were waters And my eyes a fountain of tears, That I might weep day and night For those slain of the daughter of my people!Oh that I had in the desert A travelers’ lodging place; So that I might leave my people And go away from them! For all of them are adulterers, An assembly of treacherous people.“ They bend their tongues like their bows; Lies and not truth prevail in the land; For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” declares the Lord.“ Let everyone be on guard against his neighbor, And do not trust any brother; Because every brother utterly betrays, And every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.Everyone deceives his neighbor And does not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves committing wrongdoing.Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” declares the Lord.

You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unscrupulous people and lose your own firm commitment,

Woe to me, for I reside in Meshech, For I have settled among the tents of Kedar!
