既然那藉着天使所傳的話是確定的，凡違背不聽從的，都受了該受的報應；我們若忽略這麼大的救恩，怎能逃避呢？這拯救起先是主親自講的，後來是聽見的人給我們證實了。

這樣的人是你們愛筵上的污點；他們無所懼怕地同你們宴樂，彷彿牧人只顧餵飽自己。他們是無雨的浮雲，被風飄蕩；是秋天沒有果子的樹，死而又死，連根被拔出來；是海裏的狂浪，湧出自己可恥的沫子來；是流蕩的星，有漆黑的幽暗永遠為他們保留着。亞當的七世孫以諾曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶着他的千萬聖者來臨，要審判眾人，證實一切不敬虔的人所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又證實不敬虔的罪人所說頂撞他的剛愎的話。」這些人喜出怨言，責怪他人，隨從自己的情慾而行，口說誇大的話，為自己的利益諂媚人。

在這些事上，他們見你們不與他們同奔放蕩無度的路就以為怪，毀謗你們。

她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她，按她所行的加倍地報應她；用她調酒的杯加倍調給她喝。

他們的結局就是滅亡。他們的神明是自己的肚腹；他們以自己的羞辱為光榮，專以地上的事為念。

因為睡了的人是在夜間睡，醉了的人是在夜間醉。但既然我們屬於白晝，就應當謹慎，把信和愛當作護心鏡遮胸，把得救的盼望當作頭盔戴上。

你們聚會的時候，不是在吃主的晚餐，因為吃的時候，各人先吃自己的飯，甚至有人飢餓，有人酒醉。難道你們沒有家可以吃喝嗎？還是你們藐視神的教會，使那沒有的羞愧呢？我該對你們說甚麼呢？我要稱讚你們嗎？在這事上我絕不稱讚你們！

好獻給自己，作榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的缺陷，而是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。

銅匠亞歷山大多方害我；主必照他所行的報應他。
