因我们神的怜悯，使清晨的阳光从高天临到我们，光照那坐在黑暗中死荫里的人，引导我们的脚，走上平安的路。”

约翰是一盏点亮的灯，你们情愿暂时在他的光中欢乐。

住在黑暗中的人民，看见了大光；死亡幽暗之地的居民，有光照亮他们。”

因为诫命是灯，训诲是光，出于管教的责备是生命之道，

这里的人，比帖撒罗尼迦人开明，热切接受主的道，天天考查圣经，要知道所听的是否与圣经相符。

信神的儿子的，就有这见证在他心里；不信神的，就是把神当作说谎的，因为他不信神为他儿子所作的见证。

所以，不要与他们同流合污。你们从前是黑暗的，现今在主里却是光明的，行事为人就应当像光明的儿女。

耶和华说：“呈上你们的案件吧！”雅各的王说：“把你们有力的证据拿来吧！”让它们前来告诉我们将要发生的事。以前的是什么事，让它们告诉我们，好叫我们用心思想，得知事情的结局。或者向我们宣告那要来的事。把以后要来的事告诉我们，好叫我们知道你们是神；你们作这些事，或降福或降祸，以致我们彼此对望，一齐观看。

耶和华的律法是完全的，能使人心苏醒；耶和华的法度是坚定的，能使愚人有智慧。耶和华的训词是正直的，能使人心快乐；耶和华的命令是清洁的，能使人的眼睛明亮。耶和华的话语（“耶和华的话语”原文作“耶和华的敬畏”）是洁净的，能坚立到永远；耶和华的典章是真实的，完全公义；

你们若照着圣经所说“要爱人如己”这话，去完成这至尊的律法，你们就作对了。
