You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the Lord’s servants shed by Jezebel.

You must destroy the royal house of your master Ahab. I will pay them back for spilling the blood of my servants the prophets. I will also pay them back for the blood of all the Lord’ s servants that Jezebel spilled.

And you shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, so that I may avenge on Jezebel the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord.

You are to destroy the family of Ahab, your master. In this way, I will avenge the murder of my prophets and all the Lord’s servants who were killed by Jezebel.

昔耶洗別滅耶和華諸先知、俄巴底匿先知百人於穴、每穴五十人、以餅與水供之、

耶洗別聞之、則告亞哈曰、起據耶斯列人拿伯之葡萄園、即不欲給爾以易金者、蓋拿伯已死、而不在矣、

爾列族歟、當與其民同樂、蓋彼必為其僕之血伸冤、報復厥敵、必為其地與民贖罪、○

從未有若亞哈自鬻、行耶和華所惡者、為其后耶洗別所慫恿也、

耶和華云、我必降災於爾、掃除乎爾、爾之丁男、無論被束者、自由者、悉絕之於以色列中、

伸冤在我、其足躓時、我必報之、禍日伊邇、災難速臨、

耶戶仰視其牖曰、為我者誰乎、有二三宦者自牖觀之、耶戶曰、擲之下、遂擲之、血濺於壁及馬、耶戶以足踐之、耶戶入而飲食、既而命曰、收此服詛之婦葬之、以其為王女也、遂往葬之、僅得其頭顱、與足及手掌而已、反告耶戶、耶戶曰、此乃耶和華藉其僕、提斯比人以利亞所言曰、耶洗別之肉、必在耶斯列田、為犬所噬、其屍必在耶斯列田、如田間之糞壤、致人不得曰、此乃耶洗別也、

耶和華歟、爾乃報復之上帝、報復之上帝歟、尚其顯著兮、鞫世者歟、尚其興起、使驕者受應得之報兮、耶和華歟、惡人歡呼、將至何時、伊於胡底兮、彼乃喋喋、出言傲慢、作惡者皆自誇兮、耶和華歟、彼壓制爾民、困苦爾業、殺嫠婦、戮覉旅、屠孤兒、乃曰耶和華不及見、雅各之上帝不介意兮、

愛友乎、勿自伸冤、寧待主怒、記有之、主曰、伸冤在我、我將報之、

蓋彼為上帝之役、以益爾、爾若行惡則畏之、以其非徒佩劍、乃為上帝役、以怒加諸行惡者、

天乎、諸聖徒與使徒及先知乎、宜因之而樂、蓋上帝以爾之鞫鞫彼也、○

致世間所流義人之血、悉歸於爾、即自義人亞伯之血、至爾所殺於殿壇間、巴拉加子撒迦利亞之血、

啟五印時、我見壇下有為上帝道及所執之證、而見殺者之靈、大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主宰乎、不鞫宅地之人、伸我流血之冤、至幾何時乎、

況上帝選民晝夜呼籲、雖久忍之、豈不伸其冤乎、我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

以其鞫真且義也、蓋曾鞫以淫污世之大妓、且於彼身伸其諸僕流血之冤、

蓋曰、伸冤在我、我必報之、又曰、主必鞫其民、此誰所言、我儕固知之矣、
