約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户啊，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，焉能平安呢？”

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，怎么能平安呢？”

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，怎么能平安呢？”

约兰问他：“耶户，你为平安而来吗？”耶户答道：“国中到处都是你母亲耶洗别的偶像和邪术，怎能平安呢？”

约兰看见耶户的时候，就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你的母亲耶洗别的淫行和邪术这么多，还有平安吗？”

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶啊，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，焉能平安呢？」

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

約蘭問他：「耶戶，你為平安而來嗎？」耶戶答道：「國中到處都是你母親耶洗別的偶像和邪術，怎能平安呢？」

約蘭看見耶戶的時候，就說：“耶戶，平安嗎？”耶戶說：“你的母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多，還有平安嗎？”

約蘭一見耶戶、就說：『耶戶啊，平安麼？』耶戶說：『甚麼呀？你母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多、還有平安麼？』

約蘭見耶戶、則曰、耶戶歟、安否、曰、爾母耶洗別、淫行巫術若是之多、焉得安乎、

約藍見耶戶、則曰耶戶、爾為平康而至乎。曰、王母耶洗別、狥私欲、拜偶像、從巫覡、若是之多、焉得平康乎。

約蘭見耶戶則曰、耶戶平安否、曰、爾母耶洗別之邪淫巫術、如是之多、焉能平安乎、

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Have you come in peace, Jehu?”“ How can there be peace,” Jehu replied,“ as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?”

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Have you come here in peace, Jehu?”“ Your mother Jezebel worships statues of gods,” Jehu replied.“ She also worships evil powers. The evil things she does have spread everywhere. As long as all of that goes on, how can there be peace?”

And when Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be, so long as the whorings and the sorceries of your mother Jezebel are so many?”

King Joram demanded,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” Jehu replied,“ How can there be peace as long as the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother, Jezebel, are all around us?”

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be as long as there is so much prostitution and sorcery from your mother Jezebel?”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is your intention peace, Jehu?” And he answered,“ What‘ peace,’ so long as your mother Jezebel’s acts of prostitution and witchcraft are so many?”

Now it happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” So he answered,“ What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?”

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be as long as there is so much prostitution and witchcraft from your mother Jezebel?”

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said,[ Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts[ are so] many?

When Jehoram saw Jehu, he asked,“ Is everything all right, Jehu?” He replied,“ How can everything be all right as long as your mother Jezebel promotes idolatry and pagan practices?”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

暗利的兒子亞哈行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前所有的王更嚴重。他犯了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所犯的罪，還當作是小事，又娶了西頓王謁巴力的女兒耶洗別為妻，去事奉巴力，敬拜它，又在撒瑪利亞建巴力廟，在廟裏為巴力築壇。亞哈又造亞舍拉，他所做的惹耶和華－以色列的神發怒，比他以前所有的以色列王更嚴重。

燈臺的光在你中間絕對不再照耀了；新郎和新娘的聲音在你中間絕對聽不見了。你的商人原來是地上的顯要；萬國也被你的邪術迷惑了。

反而行以色列諸王的道，使猶大和耶路撒冷居民行淫，像亞哈家行淫一樣，又殺了你父家比你好的那些兄弟。

都因那美貌的妓女多有淫行，慣行邪術，藉淫行誘惑列國，用邪術誘惑萬族。

因為列國都喝了她淫亂大怒的酒；地上的君王和她行淫；地上的商人因她極度奢華而發了財。」

（只是從來沒有像亞哈的，因他受耶洗別王后的唆使，出賣自己，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

於是王后以亞哈的名義寫信，蓋上王的印，把信送給那些與拿伯同城居住的長老和貴族。她在信上寫着說：「你們當宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在百姓的高位上，又叫兩個無賴坐在拿伯對面，作證告他說：『你詛咒了神和王。』然後把他拉出去用石頭打死。」

耶洗別殺耶和華先知的時候，俄巴底把一百個先知藏了，每五十人藏在一個洞裏，拿餅和水供養他們。

我要醫治他，他要結出嘴唇的果實。平安，平安，歸給遠處和近處的人！這是耶和華說的。」但是惡人好像翻騰的海，不得平靜；其中的水常湧出污穢和淤泥。我的神說：「惡人必不得平安！」

騎兵就去迎接耶戶，說：「王如此說：『平安嗎？』」耶戶說：「平安不平安跟你有甚麼關係呢？轉身跟在我後面吧！」守望的人說：「使者到了他們那裏，卻不回來。」

現在你要派人去召集以色列眾人，以及耶洗別所供養的四百五十個巴力的先知和四百個亞舍拉的先知，叫他們都上迦密山到我這裏來。」

然而，有一件事我要責備你，就是你容忍那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教唆我的僕人，引誘他們犯淫亂，吃祭過偶像之物。我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。看吧，我要使她病倒在床上。那些與她犯姦淫的人若不悔改他們的行為，我也要使他們同受大患難。我又要殺死她的兒女，眾教會就知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，我要照你們的行為報應各人。

亞哈把以利亞一切所做的和他用刀殺眾先知的事都告訴耶洗別。耶洗別就派使者到以利亞那裏，說：「明日約這時候，我若不使你的性命像那些人的性命一樣，願神明重重懲罰我。」

那女人穿着紫色和朱紅色的衣服，用金子、寶石、珍珠作妝飾，手拿着金杯，杯中盛滿了可憎之物和她淫亂的污穢。在她額上寫着奧祕的名字，說：「大巴比倫，世上的淫婦和一切可憎之物的母。」
