And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift in your hand and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’ ”

王就吩咐哈薛说：“你带着礼物去见神人，托他求问耶和华，我这病能好不能好？”

王就對哈薛說：『你手裏帶着禮物去會見神人，託他尋問永恆主說：『我患這病、活得了、活不了？』

王命哈薛曰、爾攜禮物、往迎上帝僕、託之詢於耶和華、我病得愈否、

王諭哈泄曰、爾攜禮物、往見上帝之僕、請彼問耶和華我疾得愈否。

he said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go to meet the man of God. Consult the Lord through him; ask him,‘ Will I recover from this illness?’”

Then the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you. Go and see the man of God. Ask him for the Lord’ s advice. Ask him whether I will get well again.”

the king said to Hazael,“ Take a present with you and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord through him, saying,‘ Shall I recover from this sickness?’”

the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift to the man of God. Then tell him to ask the Lord,‘ Will I recover from this illness?’”

So the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the LORD through him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

And the king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord by him, saying,‘ shall I recover from this disease?’”

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thy hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of Jehovah by him, saying, Shall I recover of this sickness?

So the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the Lord through him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

So the king told Hazael,“ Take a gift and go visit the prophet. Request from him an oracle from the LORD. Ask him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

The king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of Yahweh by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

And Ahaziah fell through the window lattice in his upper chamber which was in Samaria, and became ill. So he sent messengers and said to them,“ Go, inquire of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this sickness.”

The Lord said to him,“ Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus; and when you have arrived, you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram.

Then Saul said to his servant,“ But look, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread is gone from our sacks and there is no gift to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”

And it shall come about that the one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death.

Then the king of Aram said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothes.

But Jehoshaphat said,“ Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?” And one of the king of Israel’s servants answered and said,“ Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah.”And Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.Now Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ What business do you have with me? Go to your father’s prophets and your mother’s prophets.” But the king of Israel said to him,“ No, for the Lord has called these three kings together to hand them over to Moab.”

They said to him,“ A man came up to meet us and said to us,‘ Go, return to the king who sent you and say to him,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to inquire of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not get down from the bed upon which you have lain, but you shall certainly die.’ ” ’ ”

And someone said to Him,“ Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them,

and after he brought them out, he said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick.And Jeroboam said to his wife,“ Now arise and disguise yourself so that they will not know that you are the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said regarding me that I would be king over this people.Take ten loaves with you, some pastries, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will happen to the boy.”And Jeroboam’s wife did so, and set out and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. Now Ahijah could not see because his eyes were glossy from his old age.
